Weirdest for me was burning human ****e in Croatia back in the 90s, was at a wonderful site, Ploce dockyard complex. Fondly renamed by the squaddies as ploce death camp.

I was a chef and one day the agency I worked for got me a job for 1 night helping in the kitchen at SJP. It was the time Keegan was manager and Newcastle were flying top of the table.
This night they were playing Man Utd and at half time when my shift finished they said I could go and watch the game in one of the private boxes.
When Cantona scored the winner I was jumping for joy and soon had to leave when everyone realised I was Sunderland.
    Great night.

Worked in the stadium of light when I was 16 in one of the bars on the concourse. Brand new team of us in a bar that opened after the 90 minutes so I was there till half 6 every night. I'll never forget what piss poor organisation it was. Full new team, no training on the tills, 16 year old working around alcohol. Worsed part of it, was the piss poor, **** ****erish attitudes of some of the "fans", middle aged edgy tossers speaking to bits of kids behind the bar like ****e on their shoes and the lass on the till like she was a moron. I learned very quickly, never make a clammin fat **** wait for food or a piss head wait for a pint of watery John Smiths. The day i left there didn't come fast enough. Only sore spot for the club I love was the amateurish way it was ran behind the scenes. Since then I've always gave the anyone working behind any bar the benefit of the doubt because of my ****e 6 months working there. Don't get me wrong, I learned quickly not to take **** from it. Probably the year 2000 if my maths is correct mate. Can't remember the name of the company but dear me, I've used my experience with them in my life ever since. Be it training, People Management and all around common curtesy.

I used deliver CIEH level 2 food hygiene training, that's what I was brought in to do for them. They also had the catering at the Etihad at the time, along with a few other stadiums, and the plan was to go to these and deliver the one day course "en masse" to all employees on site.
To get a feel for the "environment" they asked me to work in a concourse bar till they could arrange dates.
I done the one shift....that was enough.
    Horrendous.
