Never been so embarrassed as a fan. Got into an altercation with a few blokes screaming about Tony Mowbray about 30 seconds after I posted the previous message. You’d think we’d sacked Guardiola. I said I’m pretty sure Mowbray won 2 in his first 10 both against teams who were relegated they had nout to say.

When certain young lads in our squad are having an off day it’s “expected they’re young lads” but when others (normally foreign) have an off day they’re getting absolutely hammered by fans around me.

Clearly work to be done but I still think our squad is more than good enough to be up there this season.

Only if we add quality to it, the returning injured ones will help, but its still not enough, we need to loan out Ba, Bennette, and get rid of Burstow.

    Finally home,

A good day with friends and family spoilt by the football.

Strange, frustrating performance. Thought we could have made changes earlier but a fair few off their game.

Worryingly the atmosphere around me from the first whistle was tetchy and groans got louder as the game went on

Just reminiscing here by myself having a beer...we went into the new millennium 2nd only to a PEAK Man Utd in the Prem league.
Today is no reflection on MB whatsoever. How can it be?!
I believe he went with (and understandably so) with what his coaches advised him.
But in my opinion he first and foremost needs to address moving forward the elephant in the room...to play a striker and to play to his strengths.
Ba was one of my favourite players last season...this season tho he has regressed. Imo he needs to play Rusyan.

Sundland fans are some of the most loyal in the world. They react the way they do for a reason.

I'm in the east stand as well. The lad behind us had a field day with his negative comments

To some people every defeat is on him and nothing we do well is on him

Today is a shocker, for me it still comes down to not making changes quickly enough or changing formation to try n give teams something to think about.

Concerned about the atmosphere that seems to be creeping in. Not been a lot of positivity around the club last 2 weeks and seems to be creeping into the stands. We need to stay behind this team for the 90 mins and if unhappy at full time then make your voices heard to the owners, KS, players or whoever you are unhappy with

I said this appt is the biggest of the KLD regime as we seem to be in place to kick on and if theyve got this wrong will set us back a yr or so.

Still lots to be positive about as a club but we do need some positive results over next 2 weeks. We are still in the running for the playoffs but we 100% need to make some signings in Jan. At least a couple need to come in, in January to hit the ground running.

Gutting for Huggins but this might force us into changing formation. Been saying for a while now that our best formation will be some form of 343. Hopefully we get a good result on boxing day

    Merry Christmas to all

@Prehab26 - hope the wee one pulls through mate, thinking of you all

I said Beale was an underwhelming appointment, which he absolutely was under the circumstances, however, I'll not be commenting on his performance until march, at the earliest. Bare minimum he needs to be given the chance to see the short comings first hand, and make his own adjustments.

Bless him, the mags game is an absolute ****ing nightmare for him...or might be the best thing that could have ever happened! Football is mental...why we all love it. I wish him the best of luck, would not want to be in his place. Get stuck in sunshine.. do or die!

Unbelievable the amount of times Ekwha passes the ball back.
I watched him today and he treat the ball like a hot potato, scared to get caught with it, scared to look for a foraging forward pass.
    Get rid, pass back.
