I'm sure that Phil Parkinson started with a 4-0 home win

I thought Roberts was our best player at Bristol and played well against West Brom.
    - but yeah he is not finding the net this season and only 1 assist from 15 starts.

It is the last home game Saturday mate. I can’t remember if it’s ever announced beforehand though.

The Ghost of Jimmy Hill's chin descends upon the hallowed turf of the SOL where our coal mining descendants once toiled. The chin swoops in at the back post eluding Ballard and O'Nien to chin punt home a mere consolation goal. Steve Ogrizovic, Richard Keys, David Busst and Bex Shiner go wild in the away end.

That's why it seems strange to criticise him, watching him hes such a stand out player on the ball but the end product just isn't there

Just going of another quote I must have misread, he's got the same as Roberts 15 appearances in 1

Roberts looks like a World beater until it comes to the money shot and 9/10 he fails to deliver. Hes great on the eye but as soon as he gets around the box he goes from Champions league standard to Dog and duck

I'm ready to drop Roberts, I like the guy but he doesn't offer enough. I don't fancy Ba so how about Adil, I think he'd be effective out wide and linking up with Hume/Huggins.

Bennette as well potentially if Beale brings him back into the fold, looks a player to me.

Not sure I would put either ahead of Roberts yet though he needs to up his game but I think Mayenda would be an option there

Adil looks a more effective player to me, more direct, same goes for Bennette albeit with less evidence. What would you say Roberts is doing to deserve a starting place? He's a quality footballer but I don't know how long we carry we him for without him directly contributing to a goal.

I like Roberts and would start him,he always carries a threat to the defenders. However,he's constantly frustrated me by seeming to want an extra touch all the time in and around the box. I've lost count of the number of times he's had a chance to pull the trigger and kept going. It almost looks as if he's looking for the penalty instead of trying to score.

Difficult call. Roberts may not have got assist or goals, but defenders are scared of him. He creates space for other players by simply being on the pitch. I'd like to see Roberts get more support from rwb, or someone from midfield to overlap and get the space for him.

Let's see what Beale can get out of him

    That chin was offside though…

Roberts ‘lack of end product’ totally disregards the fact folk can’t get the ball off him and he pulls defenders over, making space for runs. Roberts plays for me.

I do wish he had more direct assists and goals of course.

I'd like to see what Roberts and Pembele can do together. I know we haven't really seen Pembele yet, and Hume is a great player, but I have a feeling a Roberts/Pembele combo could be devastating down the right side
