Hope they’re not wearing white shorts.

    Rife at the moment.
Manning says "24 hour sickness bug".
    It really isn't.
24 hrs perhaps for the vomiting & the other end, but effects last around a week.
    I know.
    What a shame for them.

Always a slightly nervy time of year I find. No one wants that **** over Christmas. Once January comes bring on a couple of days off work

I never trust these reports around a busy period of games.

There's probably a couple of squad players gone down so they're making a thing of it trying to make us overconfident.
    .

We'll know about 6:45 tomorrow, but if most of their regular starters are starting, then it's just ****housery.

Reminds me that it's nearly two years since we seemingly ruined Blackburn's Christmas, and that of Bradley Dack with the covid "shambles". He'll be back this Boxing Day too.

I wonder if their fans ever did get a refund :emoticon-0111-blush

I remember not planning to go to a saturday match at Bristol
On the friday night I went into pub and saw George who said a coach to Bristol was across the road
next I knew it was 6 am and I was in Bristol!

another time I went by train and City were on the same train coming back
they brought us a few of their meals to eat

He died about 6 or 7 years ago. All the entries in the obituary section in HDM mentioned FC. He used to deny he had been a City fan. That despite him having Hull City tattooed on his fingers. Still have never come across anyone who could sink as many pints as him.

    I'm sorry to hear that
I thought he had "Love" and "Hate" tatooed on his fingers
I remember going to a pub with him in London. I was about 15 and looked young for my age so the barman was doubtful about serving me. George vouched for me being 18!

Definitely had Hull City tattooed on his fingers. Tickton Tiger saw him a few years ago and when he spoke to him said he must be mixing him up with someone else as he had ever been to City. Very sad. Everyone old enough can remember it was George who started the Waggy Waggy Waggy oi oi oi! chants on Bunkers.

George had the voice for it
I think he was in his 40s when I was in my teens - I could be wrong because lots of people look old when you are young!

Seems to conflicting opinions….is the game on telly tonight? Some are saying on red button, others are saying it’s not on at all.

Does anyone know the real situation? Cheers
