Can I suggest a 2 minute refrain from posting at 12.30 tomorrow in memory of someone who was clearly loved by all who met and knew him?
Very moving Snags. I'm with Mrs Smug having a Stella, red & white can, chatting about Allan. Rest in peace mate, what a great lad
Was a great send off. Stories, picture slides. Crem was packed to the rafters. Bands just starting at the wake now. A proper Allan see off.
Unbelievable turn out. And a very good service. Tremendous send off and to be honest would not have expected anything else.
Allan's funeral went very well, there were dozens that couldn't get in, who had to use a different room where the service was being relayed, and we (Gil, Brian Storm and I) passed on respects from all at NOT606 I've never known this before, but when he arrived we sang Haway the lads which was very appropriate
Class that. Hope this doesn't seem inappropriate, it's taken from the Sunderland Supporters Heaven Branch.
RIP Alan Although I did not know you personally It is quite apparent you were a top bloke and held in very high esteem. Sincere condolences to all that knew Alan
Thanks again to everyone who donated to the fund for our friend Allan. A sum of £235 was donated to the 'prostatecancerUK' charity as requested by his family. This was the balance left over after from the purchase of our NOT606 tribute which will make its way from Fife to Sunderland in the morning then passed on to the family. It's a solid silver photo frame engraved and with a great photo of Allan. Taking a good photo of it was quite difficult but I hope you can read it. 'ALLAN CRAGO - MrRAWhite' 'From your NOT606 family' Thanks again to everyone.
Absolutely brilliant that. A beautiful tribute, and a good donation to a good charity. Just noticed the SAFC crest at the top, brilliant touch.
I am devastated to say that I had absolutely no idea about this until now! No idea how I missed it. But I’m in bits. An absolute gentleman and one if the most passionate fans you could meet. Time for everyone regardless of whether he agreed with your opinions. Just a genuinely nice fella. Rest in peace Allan. You will be massively missed
