Sharps a gamble, but I'd like to think a relatively cheap one, if he's the only forward we sign then it's a poor poor one imo, but if we bring another hopefully better option then it could be great body to have in the building

    Maybe, we'll see.

Maybe it'll put to bed all the innuendo about Rosenior not liking senior players if nothing else so I like it for that reason.

Certainly be good for the local fish and chips industry. Personally I'd prefer Gorgeous Gus.

Terrible signing for me either way. We should be building for next season. Id personallly prefer to sign somebody who at least has a chance at being here next season. As it stands, if we dont sign Delap, we could be completely rebuilding our strikeforce next summer.

Seems to me LR is building a Team that can have huge potential and be feared on the pitch and can play together for many seasons having the odd experienced head around will surely help with a couple of more young additons and if they stay together for couple of years can you imagine what they could accomplish.

Just a thought Sharp can hold the ball up , and has a decent touch and footballing brain - think he might be useful , hope he’s not as chunky as he last looked at the Blunts tho !

For me we should’ve been taking a gamble on the Iraqi lad at Wimbledon, very similar style to Delap and allows us to have a like for like in the building as Delap gets less realistic every week.

Asking isn't implying. Never has been.

If I were to imply anything it would have been an unconscious bias, as opposed to the conscious racism I was ridiculously accused of suggesting.

The club is bringing those type of players in and i think morton and delap will both still be here next season even if only another loan along with twine even if burnley go down,i know twine is really loving being at the club and that is possibly because there are players similar age same interests and they get along great as team mates and friends.

Other players the club is looking at and talking to are of similar status with the exception of sharp it is a very young team on average and the 2 -3 that may be joining them are probably around the same age group so the club is actively building for next season but also adding the quality younger players incase we do go up.

More garbage, you brought Rosenior's race up when no one else had mentioned it, north even implicitly. Now you're throwing dog whistle ****e in the mix, look in the mirror.
Oh and this gammon doesn't froth at the mouth, though he was on the South Africa House picket line when Rosenior was still in nappies.
    That is all.

Sharp won’t be our only striker this window. He’s been brought in short term to bestow some wisdom and hopefully bang a couple in on the way to a playoff spot. Clever signing for me, old master teaching young players.

I think you'll find others did that by their over reactions, but anyway, it's gone. I'm still pissed off but we don't need to argue it out again.

I'm pissed off about having words twisted and jumped on by the Piers Morgan twitter crew.

I asked a simple question. That folk found it so offensive says more about them than me.

That said, we don't need to argue it again. I won't get a sensible response anyway.
