Clearly not a good influence despite his undoubted talent. Get on board, shape up, or ship out... so ship out it is...
Skill and work rate Asprilla, Work rate and skill Kone, the other two a very, very close second on both
Chesterfield sold 2000 of their 3.500 ticket allocation for the cup match on the first day they went on sale. Apparently they were after the whole of the Vicarage Road end - 5,800 tickets, but Watford said no.
I thought that we had to give a certain % to away fans - and that normally means the whole of the VRS.....certainly I am unable to buy my seats in there for this fixture.
We do - 15% I think, which works out to around what we have given them. Maybe giving them the full 5,800 would mean the inability to properly segregate them/cost too much in terms of policing both inside and outside of the stadium?
I think it's partly a segregation problem and partly an entry problem: there aren't enough turnstiles to allow the whole stand to fill up from one side (Red Lion / Shop) and the other turnstiles give access to Home Fans in the UGT / LGT. Jack Petchey cheapskate stand. The view is brilliant and the gangways and seating area work well; but the concourses, entry, exit, ablutions, concessions, are certainly the worst in my experience post Taylor-Report. Horrible overall matchday experience in there, bloody embarrassing actually. Did I ever mention that my Dissertation was a Case-Study of Vicarage Road Stadium? Got the "warts and all" tour. I think I may have mentioned it in passing...
