Just bought a couple of tickets for my sister in law and daughter. Upper North West Corner. If you need any get them now as by my rough reckoning approx 150 left for sale.
Should be a full house, less the 200 or so reduction where they've put 2 barriers between home and away in the North.
Be a few empty seats from those visiting family or who can't get there with no public transport. Always amazes me how well the festive fixtures are attended for those reasons tbh
Over 49,000 got there on a Xmas Day when there was no public transport at all due to a strike and hardly anyone had a car,And they won’t have been leaving early like the exodus from the East Stand no matter whether we are winning, drawing or losing.
Everyone's desperate to get out of the house, away from family, rellies, washing up, turkey sandwiches...
And the Mackems are spitting feathers at their 2000 allocation and a balls up by their allocation system... oh dear how sad,,, never mind.
There were about 30 private coaches from Brid there. Used to know an older chap who was on one of them. There was a supporters club in Brid then with over 1,500 members and over 20 coaches used to go regularly. My dad worked Saturdays but used to come of them for midweek games which in pre floodlight days were played on Thursday afternoons which were the half day closing for shops. Good job there is a large East Riding country bumpkin contingent to make up for a lot of Hull people not supporting City.
Strange indeed. In a couple of games they could be in a play off spot. Of course we may be the reason they aren’t. Hopefully.
They're all fuming with that and giving Newcastle 7000 tickets for their cup tie. Just hoping my contact doesn't decide he's not going after all
Why are they fuming about that? 7,000 is the allocation in a 48,000 stadium for a Cup tie. Away teams are entitle to 15% in stadiums with a capacity over 9,000 unless the police object. They would have got similar if it was at St James Park.
Because season ticket holders are getting moved, but that would happen anywhere surely, apart from places like the Massive where they have one decent sized stand for away fans every game
