That was probably the funniest game I've ever see!

I remember when I was on the way up I heard on the radio Best was starting. I felt like turning around and going back home.

I almost pissed myself every time he scored. To think West Ham conceded 5 goals to a strikeforce of Lovenkrands and Best.

Its taking Scholes out, he was just world class. Now some would say go and sign but Fergie seems to think Cleverley is good enough. I couldn't comment having not seen enough but he does look very good. I thought Fletcher looked top class up until that illness. Never looked the same since. I'd agree they have possibly their weakest central midfield for a while, I just think describing them as average is fanciful. They're top class. I keep saying though, they'll never compete with Barca until they have a central midfield. Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas is just scary.

Maybe my post was misleading, I didn't mean they were average, it's just that some of the past Man U sides make them look quite average.

Yeah agree with what you've said. <ok>

If they had a quality midfielder then surely give City a hard time in the title race, although United fans seem to rate Cleverley quite highly and I do too.. him and Wilshere surely will be our future central midfield pairing. Both technically gifted, have good pace and have good box-to-box ability.

Come on guys, bit of perspective here. Although they got battered by Man City, they also obliterated Arsenal 8-2 and comfortably beat Chelsea 3-1. I don't buy into the fact that 'this is their poorest team in some time'. They are still a world class team. They were champions league finalists. How much has the team changed in 7 odd months? I still feel we can go and scrape a draw, mainly due to the fact that we're playing very well at the moments.

Not to be a massive pessimist, but I'm not holding my breath.
