    He is out of contract, he could play up front with McCormack. Any thoughts?

    His contract does run out at the end of this season, which is why Brizzle will offload him in Jan, probably for £5-6m, so you haven't a prayer.

    QPR and Southampton both allegedly bidding for him(along with Leicester obviously).

    Whoop, whoop, Im 38 today, omg, I feel old. All my mates and I went clubbing (20 of us) all dressed up as cartoon characters. I was Obe Wan Kanobi (along with proper belt, lightsaber holder and a fab lightsaber) The rest is a blurrrrrr. <laugh>

    We have got a manager, Sir Nick of Barmby and he got his managerial career off to a flying start and we cruised it, we didn't need a dodgy penalty decision to get a result.

    Maynard will go in January they have already turned down £5m from Leicester perhaps they will swap him plus some cash for Beckford as his days are numbered now

    There will be alot of interest in Maynard in jan again if he continues his form of the last few weeks. The only reason he didnt leave in the summer is because of his injury past and because we kept making stupid offers his price tag got stupidly high. We bid around 7M and it got turned down because Maynard didnt want to come here else they would of accepted it. I think he will hold out for a prem team and his price tag will be alot lower so i would imagine there would be some takers

    Agreed, I'm sure he'll want to be playing Premiership football next season. There'd be no point going to Leicester and staying in the Championship!

    Dont think you really need to!

    Will Maynard cut it in the prem? Probably, but I think you will be mixing established players in with your squad next season when you go up so it would be a gamble.

    gradel missed a pen v west ham

    and theres no way maynard will go for £5mil if he only has 6months on his contract in january, not when any club could potentially get him for free at the end of the season

    I don't think he would, but if he did it would probably be because we're a huge club who are competing for promotion.
