Kyril Louis-Dreyfus Born 18th December 1997 Calling him a Quisling means that you're an idiot imo. Is that because Speakman has been an unmitigated disaster for the club ... ... or because some people jump at any chance to have a whinge about the club. I'm going for answer B.
One observation about Beales record is that although the win ratio is very good, he has a higher than you'd like loss ratio and very few draws.
Well my reservations are because of what a few mates of mine up the road have said. They are similar. Let's hope he's learned because he somehow alienated almost everyone up at Rangers, though in fairness being English might not have helped when the pressure was on. But he's the man so he gets full support from me. Personally I don't and never did expect promotion. We have a very young team which will probably show some inconsistencies, no obvious goal scoring striker to add to the goals that are coming, by all accounts a low wage budget and some very good looking squads competing for four spots. But you never know. Beale can coach, no one denies that, and its his main job. Hopefully his experiences have improved the rest.
Sneaking a banner in is fine. The club officially letting the anti Saudi seat thing would be totally unprofessional and I understand them on that. They can’t stop us vocally hating the Saudi bastards though.
Tin hat on but they were naive if they thought they could set out anti Saudi displays and an FTM flag The club led them on so they had less time to execute a plan b Plane with highly offensive banner should’ve been booked as soon as the draw was made
A bit OTT?!?! It’s mad, completely disproportionate, you’d think we’d brought Grayson back. Threats of protests and boycotts over the appointment. It may not be people’s preferred choice but it doesn’t warrant that. Maybe I just don’t know enough about Beale. I looked through his results at Rangers and very few stood out as really poor. Is there that much shame in losing to Postecoglou‘s Celtic? Should they on paper have been beating them? I try and avoid all things Old Firm so I genuinely don’t know. Even at the start of this season where things were ‘really bad’ there were only a few poor results (I appreciate they’re the fine margins Rangers operate in) but a few good ones too (beating Betis for example). I know there’s more to it than just results but we’ve got an outstanding set up here, it can only bring out the best in a head coach. In fact Dodds alluded to it in his interview with Nick Barnes this week. Said he’s fortunate to work in the set up he does and with the players we have - said there’s plenty of great coaches that don’t have the same privilege so don’t get the same recognition.
Having slept on it, and it being a match day, this is making a bit more sense than it did yesterday. An element of wanting someone else or whatever but I’m gonna focus on the blokes incredible coaching background and the fact Rangers have been years behind Celtic for years. That squad broke up quite badly didn’t it with Kent and Morelos etc running down contracts. Van Bronkhorst failed there and he went there with a Sky high reputation after some stunning work winning a title with Feyenoord after nearly 20 year. I’ll back it. **** it can’t do anything else but back it can we?

I agree Chunk, I used to sit in the NS until they moved the away fans up there, then I moved to the east stand. I'm frightened to tell them I am a geordie
I think what's absolutely clear is that beale is a very well respected coach in the game. You don't get those opportunities otherwise. Now at sunderland, the set up means that in theory success isn't limited to one role. He'd come in and coach, supported by recruitment, data etc. Very different hence the candidates discussed. Now where I think the club need to be careful, is that having the fans engaged in this process, which I think we are, is crucial. But in addition, having the fans engaged with our head coach, leader, is also fundamental. That's where I think they need to do a bit more thinking. All of that being said, I want our leadership team to have conviction is their decisions and not be completely fan led in their thinking. So, I've got ne idea what I think. But it's definitely a head scratcher and I can't lie, it doesn't feel right
Half the people at the match are Geordies anyway, I used to be one until I was told you had to be a mag to qualify
