Inclined to agree mate I’ve no idea how we’d play a different style to be honest. I still see young players who aren’t suited to where they’re playing but are doing a job.. new manager needs to find their best positions and start moulding them to that role. One thing I do know is that Jobe has the world at his feet he’s still very young but he’s not a 10 nor is he a striker imo. People will mention others in our team who are good but how many were this good at 18? Most hadn’t even kicked a ball in blocked football. One of a few players we should be building a team around and settling them in their best position.

We adopted a more possession based game because of injuries but it became too much about possession imo. Of course I want to watch us have all of the ball but it became too predictable and there was no cutting edge.

Hopefully a new manager can see that we have players capable of playing good football and implement a new style that fits both them and us. Loads of the ball and more cutting edge.

I don’t think he’s realistic at all personally. He turned down Ajax! I reckon he’s waiting for a Bundesliga opportunity.

Of the current names being mentioned I think hes the best fit. Adds an older dimension to the set up will compliment Dodds very well.
However think hes a man who knows what he wants big names have courted him and he's turned them down.
Would be a massive coup if we got him.

You heard anything mate or just speculating

Beale is being backed heavily again, into 1/4 now. Would love to know where this is coming from

Its a small market doesn't take much to swing the odds wildly expect all the other bookies to follow suit. Was it Ryan Giggs 1/8 at one point for one of our jobs. Also Gus Poyet last time.
Hopefully its bollox but makes me nervous all the same.

Mike Dodds follows Mick Beale. People have no idea when he started following him. As a fellow coach he could have been following him for years.

Dave Jones also follows Mick Beale but think he has been for ages. Don't think they're all daft enough to start following our potential new manager before it's announced.
Sure Jones got found out before with a player so doubt he'd do it again.

I've just backed Thelin and Knutsjen as I don't think it'll be Beale.

Fabrizio Romano will tweet who our new manager will be at some point today imo.

This is so so so deflating.

I back the club but this feels weird as heck.

What I will say is I think I’ve been underwhelmed by every appointment so far and they keep getting it right
