Where on earth is the Beale stuff coming from? As far as I can see not one journo has mentioned him as a candidate but he's as short as 2/5 with some bookies. Confused.
The club are keeping their cards very close to their chest...not a peep from the club and the people who can glean some information from within the SOL don't really have anything.... To be honest, its a good thing
Feel like if Nixon is right in that we have someone at the game tomorrow- then surely we get word today. As mentioned above, the club have been unbelievably tight-lipped. Somewhat impressive.
As a fellow cap wearer...I'm all in for Dodds. You'll dee for me bonny lad!! By the way, thanks all for the messages when I was in hospital and missed the Leeds game on Tuesday. Got an all- clear on the blood front.
Think we will just have to be patient and wait until the club announce something. FWIW I don't tend to put much stock in Nixon as a lot of what he says is simply regurgitated from other forums/feeds I think the only one that gets any real info is Fabrizio Romano and he has been vague and fairly quiet so who knows what is really going on. Its great to be linked with these head coaches and no doubt most of them tick a lot of the boxes for us but I feel quite relaxed about where we are as we do not seem rudderless like a lot of clubs do in similar situations which tells me our set up behind the scenes must be very good to enable the squad to transition to an interim coach so seamlessly.
If I were the club I’m not sure I’d announce anything today. He clearly won’t be in charge tomorrow so I’d wait until after to announce it.
Would be nice for it to be today, could say the new boss will be watching from he stands tomorrow or something
Go when it’s git close You only go when it’s git close Go hen it’s giiiiit close You only go when it’s git close
If it’s was me I’d dress him up as Santy, sit him around KLd and keep us fans guessing (but then I’m not very professional )
I’d love this craic Throw in a curve ball and have an elf 3 seats away and a snowman lurking behind the bins with some binoculars.
