Away game so wouldn't mind us going with same team and formation as the other night tbh. Roberts for Ba though. If we go 4 at the back I'd bring Ekwah in, Jobe up top with Pritchard just behind.

Morning guys City fan in piece- my take on this I see this going one way on current form and that is in your favour-
Safe trip down to all those coming-

well back to Ashton Gate for a game against a very inform side in Sunderland.
Their last game midweek beating Leeds 1-0.
Bristol City under new manager Liam Manning has had a tough baptism in the championship and already realising what a hard league this is.
The pressure is going to start mounting on Liam Manning if this game is another loss especially after the very unpopular decision across the fanbase to remove Nigel Pearson.
John Lansdown knows his new man must start producing results quickly before Ashton Gate becomes toxic.
Sadly I see another home loss and even a heavy lossI’m going 1-3 to Sunderland and the pressure pot starting to boil.

Top thread again RTB <applause>, and at last we are looking like a real team again, thanks to imo some game strategy from the coach. I am yet to be convinced that Roberts should start. Although we go in full of confidence, its not the place for him, as both team and crowd will be up for this right from the start. Not sure what MD will do but the formation against Leeds of a fluid back five that morphed effortlessly into a back three when attacking looked like it had played together for years, and Leeds had no answer. I would certainly like to see it tried again, but am more than happy to go along with anything that MD decides atm . OaU.

It's hard to believe he's only 20yrs of age, has his best game so far for us . He looks a real talent and very adaptable, another success for our recruitment team.

These are a team that try and have the ball, but haven’t really got the players for it, that should **** us.

They a competitive team and it’s likely gonna be tough and tight. I always say it, baffles me how these never grow as a club seems they try and they get to a poor t then they **** the bed.

Big city, great City, had some good nights there in my young wandering phase. Got a good pal who’s a Rovers fan funnily enough.

Feels like a 2-1 fascinated to see some more Doddsball. He has nailed it 2 straight different challenge against a slightly lesser side than the 2 we have had, and on the road.

2-1 and more convo on here about ‘should it be Dodds?’

Interesting to hear Dodds mention giving clearer instruction to the players and voila. More of the same tomorrow please.

Intrigued to see how he sets us up. 3 at the back plus two wingbacks bombing on could work well against this lot.

Really fancy a 1-3 win here, with one of our recognised strikers on the scoresheet.

Another win, not cos of who we’re playing but how we’ve improved in 2 games and the rumours of a new gaffer will keep them fighting for a place.

This will be really interesting. Had 2 home games players fired up for Dodds. His first away game and things will have settled with the players a bit.
Think this will show us if Dodds is up to the task. I'm betting on him pulling a rabbit out of the hat again. 2-0 to the lads

Just expecting a win. Not bothered by what score. There is a camaraderie there and they are busting a gut for Doddsy.

    Cheers RTB.

Great thread as always RTB. Thanks again. A great chance to make it 3 wins on the belt against an out of form Bristol side. I think dodds will set us up well again and I'm sure the players will respond. A difficult place to go all the same but hopefully the lads can do the business and bring home the 3 points. Long days travelling ahead but I'm looking forward to catching up with friends and cheering the lads on to victory. As always keep the faith lads and lasses.

What a stupid thing to say

We need to be united as a club

You want the fans to turn on a man who has changed our great club for the better and got us believing again

If Beale is appointed lets see how he does 1st before we decide if its a good or bad decision
