    Boy is this site dead.
    Plenty of lookers, no posters.
    So final effort.
January market approaching, for selling and buying.
    Here's my sellers
Disasi, Gallagher, Mudryk, Silva, Maatsen ( who we should keep ) Broja, Cuccerella, Reece James, Madueke Jackson

Disasi, Bog ordinary not as good as Trevoh Chalobah who is worth loads of money as a home grown
Gallagher Huffs and puffs but never scores and doesn't improve our hopelessly unbalanced midfield enough.
Mudryk Good player somewhere in there but is losing value every week and not improving enough. Will be
    a 5 mill player in a year.
Silva Past his best by some way. Slows everything down, can't perform against the teams we need to
    beat.
Maatsen Worth a bomb as a home grown player but loads better than half the dopes Poch has to play.
Broja Not worth 2 bob. Couldn't score against a Grannies team if they were all in wheelchairs.
Cuccerella One good game 5 bad games, no goals no assists, complete dud of the highest order.
Reece James Great player ,but career finished by injury. Sell him while someone will pay, or get some medics
who can fix him Ours can't and are utterly hopeless.
Madueke Who knows what he could do, but Poch won't play him so why pay him?/
Jackson Dumb signing who is a baby in a mans game. Too feeble, too lightweight and little football nous.

Buyers Only one Oshimen. Don't even think about Tomey, miles below what we need.
What we need to buy is someone with a track record of finding serious talent, not just "wondekids"
who make you wonder what's so wonderful. We've got an Academy full of them.

There is no way Jackson or James will be sold.
Madueke I feel there is a player there, and he needs game time, whether or not Poch gives it to him or not remains to be seen. Maybe loan him out for the rest of the season?
Jackson we have had for 6 months, I am happy to give him time to adjust, learn the game and put on some muscle, as long as he is not our 1st choice striker.
Osimhen would be a great signing, but I will believe it when I see it.
James is our captain, and yes he is injury prone, but I dont see the club selling him on.

The others, Mudryk has had a year and has achieved nothing and he has not shown me anything that may indicate he will get better in this team.
Cucurella likewise, he has been here for a year and a half and is no good.
Silva is a legend but yes he is ancient now, am happy for him to go at the end of the season.
Disasi and Gallagher I am on the fence.....I think there is potential there, especially for Gallagher, but I wouldnt be heartbroken if either of them were sold.
If we get Osimhen and Nkunku comes back, and we can keep a settled midfield AND stop our backline being decimated by injuries, we have a team

You may not even be able to sell James considering he sees unable to cope why the demands football puts on his body .

I think you are probably right.
Someone might take a punt on him, on the cheap, but we wont sell for cheap, so I dont see him going anywhere.
If we get Osimhen, and end up with a front 4 of ,Sterling, Palmer and Nkunku, with Osimhen spearheading it....then that is exciting.
Then we can have Caicedo and Enzo behind them, with Gallagher and Lavia on the bench.
Just need to keep our backline from being injured all the ****ing time. Its super frustrating.

    ------------Osimhen-----------
    Sterling---------------Nkunku
    -------------Palmer-------------
    -----Caicedo--------Enzo-----

Then whatever back four that can walk behind them.

the problem with that is you need to bring in approx£100-£200m each year to fulfil ffp rules so might mean nearly anyone could be sold each window .

I agree which is why I think we will sell Maatsen and Chalobah, probably Gallagher as all will be major in us complying with FFP.
Reece James is a really big problem as he is a wonderful player. I doubt we will sell him anytime soon, but unless we get him fit and keep him fit, which we haven't come close to doing in 2 seasons, then he will be finished.7 hamstring injuries I believe in 2 years suggests either our medicos are not up to it, or he has a chronic and ongoing disposition to injury. Jackson is another full season from being up to scratch, big risk will he ever be good enough ??
If we really need to sell to buy, then someone has to go who we would like to keep. That's the idiocy of overspending which we have done so thoughtlessly.

Yeah dont academy players count for more with FFP when you sell them, because it is pure profit.
I think they might have forced Mount out of the club for that very reason ya know.
They knew he was our most expensive academy player, given how much of a sicknote James is, even though James is an infinitely better player.
Not that I was too sad about Mount leaving.
Regarding Jackson, like I said, he has had 6 months, in a new league, in a new country, and he is young, not ready to write him off just yet.
If he can grab 12-15 league goals this season, thats good enough for me for a first season in the PL at 22. Not everyone is Erling Haaland :)
He better improve though! and we had better sign a new striker come the summer!
Other than that, signings wise, I would like a keeper, since ours are all "meh", then for me its just a matter of trimming the fat and getting what is left to play as a team.

I’m still bewildered we let Gilmour go. Far superior player to Gallagher.

    And Enzo Fernandez and Caesiedo.
Useless dopes at Chelsea do this all the time, our history is riddled with kids we let go who became world beaters. Our talent experts wouldn't know a great prospect if he was kicked in the nuts by the kid.
We have a massive and endemic problem with our scouts and talent spotters. They don't have the ability to select the correct players, and they don't know the difference between real talent and flash in the pan.
Look at Salah, De Bruyne, Guehri, Tomari , Gilmour , Solanke, all in recent times, and Sarr, Cucurella, Disasi, Caicedo, Mudryk, Jackson on the other hand.
No one saw how good the players we sold would become, and no one saw how ordinary the players we bought are. Sure all are talented, but we never get it right selling world beaters and buying mediocrity. Just another example of what a basket case Chelsea is.
Buy the Brighton staff who find talent by the bucketload at reasonable prices, then on sell them to dopes like us for 100 mill. they leave ours experts for dead. Employ someone with the ability to blend and improve the TEAM with every new purchase.
STOP buying every kid with skill. Kids don't win anything, and we've got bucket loads of them in our academy. Concentrate on players to improve the team now, not in 2027.
Boehly has introduced a policy which will ensure we are midfield for another 5 years. And that's before our good players start wanting out, which will be before seasons end.
And Pochettino is NOT the man for us. No tactics, no selection nous, no sign of improving anything.

Of all the aforementioned talent we have passed off, I feel the one we will really regret is Fikayo Tomoroi and having missed KDB and Salah I think he will be up there. Gilmour may turn out to be a Scottish Paul Scholes and I wish him well whoever he plays for (as long its not Spurs). A bad result tomorrow against Sheff U and we may be looking at a change of the guard, don't get me wrong, but how long must we wait, if you keep pressing the same button over and over again, and expect a different result then insanity is just around the corner. Maybe we have reached that point already. Horses for courses my Dad used to say maybe this Horse is not for Poch to win on.

Sadly Cucurella is out until February so we won’t be able to get rid of him. I think Maatsen will leave next window which is a shame, never really had an opportunity at full back and if he isn’t getting picked now when our first 2 are injured then he never will. Chalobah will probably leave, Broja too but that might be a loan.

I can’t see us selling anyone we signed in the summer, can’t spend big money on someone and then ship them out after a few months, give em a chance at least.

Just focus on trimming your squad and make things easier for Poch.
