I'm probably going to piss the usual suspects off here but I honestly don't think that this is acceptable. We're playing poor, one dimensional football with absolutely zero end product or even excitement.

I get we're on an unbeaten run etc but it's no ****ing use if those above us are churning out better results. Quite dissapointed with how the season is turning out. Another ill fitting managerial appointment by SR. Shame

 

Why is it not? Auto's are pretty much out of the window now but it does help consolidate our position in the play offs. And it adds another game to our unbeaten run.

 

No. I expect we will set up with basic tactical awareness. I expect we will use our excellent wingers to drive the game.

What I don’t expect is narrow, pedestrian, obvious and ineffective football.

Conclusion 44% possession wasted. Another disappointing result.

I could see Ipswich losing ground if injuries hit etc, but Leicester are already long gone.

 

And yet Leicester and Ipswich manage it.

Hanging on at the end. Their goal woke us up for ten minutes, but otherwise very uninspiring.

Mate behave. Coventry were ****ing awful. We should have blown them away. We were so bad

 

Ipswich are very much a good team though, doing exactly what we did 11 years ago. With the amount of players left over from last season i.e. Adams, Aribo and injuries to Stewart and Sulemana, its not that surprising that we're struggling at the moment.

 

Leicester and Ipswich seem to be doing a good impression of blowing teams away.

 

Unbeaten runs with many draws aren't helpful - remember Huddersfield in League 1. The odd defeat amongst mainly wins is - remember us in League 1!

 

Coventry, like Watford, came into the game on a good run. I think Coventry have only lost once in their last 11 now. These teams are tough to beat, especially away. We should have beaten Watford and we had enough chances to win tonight. I thought we played fine for most of the game apart from before and after HT. It was not abject or woeful or any other hyperbolic words people wish to use.

 

It would be nice to blow a team away once in a while.

Ipswich are winning games by the odd goal.

 

Whatever the form book says they were not a good team. First half in particular they were awful. We should have won tonight.

You are accepting mediocrity from the club yet again

 

But they are winning, even from losing positions.

 

That's exactly why it is not good enough. To be so far off the top 2 at the halfway mark, with possibly the best squad in the league (certainly top 2), is poor.
