It is Dictionary Pissymattress (noun) Someone who winges whines and complains about something that hasn't even happend.
Still was interviewed in London, with the permission of Reims. The club don't want to move Dodds as it would mean having to replace the first team coach.
Regarding the club not knowing what they’re doing - Danny Batth is on the bench tonight and Norwich have Kenny McLean (a midfielder) playing centre back, as their tactics depend on their defenders being able to pass the ball comfortable out from defence. Interesting.
They’ve just came off a run of 8 losses in about 10 games, not sure they’d of been worse off with Bathh playing to be fair
i honestly believe if still generally wants to come , he'll be are next gaffer, the club are not daft the will know how much it will be to get him from remis if the couldn't afford it , the wouldn't of started talks with him
Could be he knows Still is the choice and coming in, but just not the date, so he's prepping for the next two games in case Still comes in after them. Taking it week by week until the new bloke is in place. More likely Still has been the one they've decided on as a better fit after the interviews and we've let Allberg know, so he's took on another job.
Nobody has come out and said they’ve turned the job down. Not much in the papers. ITKs are only getting little bits and pieces with nothing for certain. Fantastic job by the club! Exactly as it should be. Dodds doing magnificent cameo at moment and TM is much further ahead with his Christmas shopping than he imagined. Personally I’m sitting back and enjoying the ride. These things take time to do properly. Ha’way the new head coach when he/she arrives.
I think that's what they'll do if the can't get the coach they want right now, they will not want to lose Dodds from his coaching role permanently, I don't think Dodds would either as most coaches move with the manager whereas Dodds is safe as long as Speakman is here, no matter how many times they change the head coach
Apparent serenity and a little irritation: how Reims is coping with Will Still's desire to leave The day after the news of Will Still's intention to leave, Reims had an almost normal day. Between timid denials and indirect messages... Will Still has lived up to his reputation. This Wednesday morning, a few hours after his trip to London on Monday to meet with Sunderland's directors was revealed, the Reims coach played the card he prefers: that of repartee and humour. When he joined his squad for the session, the Reims coach, in front of a few curious onlookers, cameras and his players, slipped in with a smile: "Oh finally, I'm not in England!" What you can have without paying
Earlier on Wednesday, we covered reports from France which showed how complicated the latest rumours linking Will Still to the Sunderland are. It was claimed that while he tells Stade de Reims he doesn’t want to leave, he also offered his services to the Black Cats. The French club already dismissed the possibility of that move, and now quoted by France Info, the coach himself seemed to pour cold water on the Sunderland stories. Still had a word with the local media at Stade de Reims’ training ground, and when asked about his future, he insisted people should treat everything with scepticism. “You shouldn't believe everything you read in the press,” Will Still told the French media. So in case the previous reports about him playing a double agent are true, then he’s actually doing a good job by cooling the claims, especially given he was on Stade de Reims’ premises. Now we wait and see whether he’s actually been in talks with Sunderland, as if the Black Cats do end up signing him, that will certainly be a situation which will generate many questions in a potential press conference presentation. Even if that doesn’t happen, Still is surely going to have to front up to this situation in his next press conference with the Ligue 1 club.
The man himself took Reims training today and told the media not to believe everything in the press. https://sportwitness.co.uk/france-will-still-finally-quizzed-sunderland-job-media-pounce-training/
