Right lads I’m after a new set of wheels, seriously considering a Merc EQB, what’s the best 7 seater car I can get?
In all seriousness my advice on cars is to go small.... all these arseholes wasting fuel driving big cars will end up working until they're dead. Most of them simply don't need 4x4 cars.
He’s asking though about 7 seaters so I presume he needs to air more than 5 people! If so I’d go for a Toyota Verso.
I have had a zafira, galaxy and currently a grand picasso. The galaxy is the best of the bunch for me but then I had the older shape with a 1.9tdi engine and it just kept on going. I purchased the picasso with the suggested fuel figures of 70mpg but , at around just 44mpg, it's not much better than the galaxy was at around 40mpg so I'm pretty annoyed about that. Was expecting some adjustment for "real world" but not that much. Galaxy was noticeably bigger and you can put a few bags of shopping in the boot even with the seats up. I was also able to carry a literal half tonne in the car no problem. As a comparison I can't even get the picasso off the drive with 3 kids in the back without it scraping across said driveway. Just a note, my kids don't weigh half a tonne. I was transporting building materials back to the house. The galaxy just starting clipping the driveway when I had the half tonne in it
Countryside or city driving? Just get reviews on 7 seaters on carwow or what car etc If I remember right, all merc suvs are built in Alabama by blokes who wear red checked shirts with rosy cheeks and ginger hair Make of that what you like
