Distribution was iffy at times (then at other times he played some unbelievable passes) but won his battles and led the team well. Looks far better in a back 3

Same. Agree on all points. I had low hopes for the game last night and Leeds are a seriously good outfit. From minute 1 they were pressing and didn't give us any time on the ball.

Dodds had the team set up brilliantly, albeit in a bizarre fluid 3-4-3/5-2-3 that reverted to a 4-4-2 at times, but it worked. Wing backs were outstanding, Pritch his usual calm self and Dan Neil just gets better and better with each game.

When Alese, Cirkin, Matete, Evans and Pembele are available for selection there are going to be some serious selection problems

I couldn't see us getting anything from these 2 homes games, so to be sat here with 6 points in the bag feels immense. Got to back it up on Sat now.

Wonder if Dodds will STILL be in charge by then

Players who are not natural centre backs always do.

That said 09 was excellent last night.

Not too impressed with farkes post match comments. We "parked the bus" i.e defended well. Pritchard header assist to jobe was a "coincidence" and Clarke should have got a red card for touching Summerbee who shot at Patterson. Seemed somewhat bitter.

    Little boring story for yas.
Had a shìt last couple of 12hr night shifts.
    Crap sleep in-between.
    Mate lost his dad yesterday.
Forgot about the game last night.
On me way home in the car. Heard the result, heard it wrong. Thought we'd lost . :(
Called at Asda fer some bacon and ciabatta buns. (Nearest fookin thing to stotties down here ffs <laugh> )

Cheered me up a bit when a lass pushing one of those big order trollies couldn't get through between an aisle and a pallet, hitting the pallet.
I said, "here pet" and kicked the high loaded pallet of Christmas chocolates to move it, and the lot went arl owa the fookin floor <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Got home, thought, fook it, fook the bacon, there's some cold cans in the fridge to drown me sorrows <laugh> check on here and looked at the match thread. Had on. We won <doh> <cheers>

    Fooking made up :emoticon-0148-yes:

Reet am off fer me third can <laugh>

    "Lots of possession"

Means **** all you melt - you can have the ball as much as you want, but if you don't do anything with it it means nowt. The only real save Patterson had to make was from the free kick early on

Edit.....Would love to know what his conversation with Pritchard was after the match...it was either great assist for the goal...or you jammy bastard that header could have gone anywhere...take your pick<laugh>

He just didn't want to admit that he was out thought by a caretaker manager. Melt!

Started noisy, about 3 minutes into the second half it was like someone flicked a switch and turned them off!

It was right in front of where I sit, I think I had a little pleasurable leakage in my skiddies when it happened :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm

I noticed that Marcus, it was very strange. Similar in the first half, very loud for 10 minutes and then nothing

And that's what happened last night.

They pose a real threat and toe to toe would have been asking for it, even at home.

But it should never be about hoping for a breakaway and it wasn't. We took the right chances to play in their half and posed far more threat than them. We all know what huffing and puffing gets you, and it got them nothing.

Very, very impressive all round last night, including the crowd who understood what was going on.
