    we rode our luck did someone say?

    granted we had to clear one off the line but so did they and needed thier keeper to be in top form, seelt was not the only one starting to celebrate his 'goal' yet patto had a fairly routine save early on but nowt else was close to troubling him.

    this game was played perfectly, very tactical and cagey and imho was good to watch with both teams probing all game...leeds plan was simply to drag us out but it helped towards the game, great and well deserved win.

    That I can agree on absolutely. Any player that can do a half decent job in numerous positions at this level for that kind of money is a bargain and pretty much invaluable to the squad. Granted benches are bigger now but having someone who could potentially come on and play RB, RCB, LCB or CM is huge. Reminds me a bit of O’Shea at United would play anywhere just to get on the pitch.

    Tremendous result and we were superbly set up and executed the gameplay perfectly.
    Don’t get the park the bus comments from Farke, we could have been 2 or 3 goals up
    at HT.
    Other than Summerville free kick and Hume goal line clearance they barely laid a glove on us.
    Well done to the whole team and Dodds and his back room team.

    When Roberts controlled that long ball dead in his stride and then was brought down by James who got booked for it, it was worth my season card just for that moment alone. Roberts is a very, very good player on his day.

    So good to see us winning tackles! We gave better than we got, were never intimidated and still played our football in atrocious conditions. Tactically fluid and a big performance.
