The fact that Celtic , if we assume Rangers will win game in hand , are effectively only 2 points ahead after the ‘Beale ball’ experiment is mental.

Both teams have winnable home ties and one away game up to the old firm game . Based on current form, I can see Celtic drawing against Dundee away meaning Rangers have a chance to go equal on points with an old firm win (and still have a game in hand).

Mental how things turn around.

League was done in October was the cry.

 

We play in the cup final this weekend, so will be 2 games in hand.

Doing everything they can to keep Celtic in front and with the pressure off due to their “big lead”

 

There's a catch though.

Rangers are absolutely ****e, and for the 20th season in a row, we have more injured players than ones fit.

Then, we've also to go through our post-Christmas slump.

Unless PC gets in at least one fit striker who can actually stay onside and can shoot, then there is zero chance we will muster up any sort of challenge.

That Rangers squad is a shambles of injuries and imbalance (no width etc)

Celtic are going backwards tho. Players like Forrest and Mickey Johnstone are low level players . The player on loan from Liverpool is laughably bad.

If Rangers sign a player like Shankland (and a winger or two ) and Celtic don’t sign some quality to take over from those types above , then it’s definitely going to be close .

 

Celtic will get the job done, they'll be going out to buy probably anyone that Rangers are after unless the player identified by Rangers is absolutely ****.

 

Big week for Phil-ball and still got 7 games to play before the winter shut down.

(A) Real Betis will have too much for us and could be a sore one as they seem to be playing really well.
(N) Aberdoom in the cup - a game they have to win.
(H) St Mongstone - Levein seems to have gotten a tune out them.
(A) Murderwell - some collapse from them, they played us off the park at the Old Lady and shouldve won but seems their form has fallen off a cliff
(H) Dross county - should see this ok
(A) ***** XI - could be the ****test OF in the 135 year history of game
(H) Kille - mmmm they look decent

 

We don't need 2 wingers, we have Sima, McCausland and Matondo.

 

I’d like to see Sima given a run of games as the striker, looks a more natural finisher than Danilo and Dessers thats for sure
