Even if there was success on the pitch I would still have a fundamental problem with the current owners of the Club.
Even if Charlton were top of the league.

Charlie Methven was at Sunderland when they were promoted.
And their fans still hate him because of what was going on there. What is currently going on at CAFC?

    We don't know.
We don't even know who these owners are.
Even with Roland the old Scrote and the scumbag pond life of ESI, we knew who they were for f**k's sake.

Fans are being kept in the dark and lied to as a matter of routine. Day in, day out.
And our Club is a tenant in a stadium it used to own.
A stadium dug out of the very earth with their own hands by players, Club members and an army of fans 104 years ago.
Nobody has any right to it but Charlton fans. We made it.

The way our old Club is being abused has never been more wrong.
That's why I have no faith in, or patience with, SE7 or anybody they appoint to run the Club - head coach included.

Strangely wasn’t particularly gutted at the late equaliser, a point was the minimum Cambridge deserved, the amount of times in the first half the ball fell kindly for us in our own box, another day and they’d have got 2/3 by half time. As soon as I started to say Appleton was proving me wrong a few weeks back and is doing a decent job, we have been absolutely dreadful. Season over I fear, playoffs a distant dream

It's worrying to have to say that Cambridge worked harder for each other than Charlton did, and it's not the first time this has happened. You have to wonder about team spirit. During the first half it seemed strange the way they wouldn't pass the ball to CBT when he moved into space to receive it, and when he laid on a perfect cross for Campbell's goal he barely joined in the celebration. Chem had a good second half, and didn't need to be subbed off, he was still full of running, and showed that he should never have been frozen out the way he has been. Abankwah is another loanee who has been frozen out, never once played in his natural position, even in the Losers Cup. And now Louie Watson seems to be getting the same treatment, when yesterday he seemed the obvious choice to help see out the game, with his workrate. No wonder Dobbo's performance has dropped with the workload he is expected to cover with Fraser beside him. Judging by the reports from the fans' meeting at Bromley the club are not too concerned about the possibility of losing Dobbo and CBT in January, believing they can be replaced. Replaced with what? I think we know.

Incredibly frustrating saturday. The first half Cambridge bossed, and the commentary team even said it was great we had kept a clean sheet. Second half we looked more purposeful and that man Alfie May finally opened their defence. Great cross and finish for the second goal, and with Cambridge forced to push forward, I was hoping for a third goal. However, Appleton began to fiddle with the team, and took off experienced pro's for the kids. On another day he might have got away with it, and with theinjuries, he didn't have much on the bench, but Louie Watson was a logical choice he ingnored completely, and as we sat back to defend, we invited pressure on to us. Not sure if the penalty was a penalty, but it was our poor defending that allowed the referee to blow (it was definately a foul) so Cambridge got what, over 90 minutes, was a draw they well deserved.

It's a worry that our SMT think that if Dobbo or CBT don't want to renew, they can be easily replaced. They can be replaced - anyone can - buy the cost is likely to be a high one, as they are both playing well generally, and to get similar players won't be cheap.

They won’t be looking for similar players though. They’ll be looking for cheaper players.
