What happens in a coach's interview? Is it PowerPoint presentations? Slide shows? Inane questions like in normal interviews? Anyone have a clue?
Yes,sorry marra....forgot Potter. That's £25 I'm laying out now! Think I should hedge with a sneaky punt on Warnock?
I remember nixon saying last time that Manning and Barry were looked at when we replaced Johnson and then Neil when he left. Manning gone to Bristol City but you'd think they'd of seen what Barry's thoughts are. Considering he has euro 2024 coming up with Portugal it's probably a tough one to do
I have had a couple, but obviously not for the main gig . Only for academy coaching gigs. They were really a two way conversation. I had to talk about my approach to coaching and player development. How I would enforce standards and culture. Big on how I would work as part of a team across all age groups including first team. The club presented their 'philiosophy', approaches to pathways etc. I had to give a sense of my thoughts on that and whether I would push change. I would say both were really about how we would suit each other. No dull questions like what is my biggest achievement and all that bollocks. I would bet interviews for first team are the same. They will know everything that is already public about the coach and will interview those whose record matches. It will really about personality fit, ethos, future ambitions etc. A sort of can we work in tandem thing. Then the agents come in and nearly ruin it all with money talk (i never had an agent by the way, or got to talk about money ).
Potter best price at William Hill is 14s Barry not on oddscheckers list...my preference Will Sill 6/1 nobody in particular seeming to be heavily backed Hellberg is in to 7/2 so it's anyone's guess. I think Potter was 33/1 yesterday if that's the case then he seems to be the one being punted on .
Drifted slightly from yesterday. Think he is still there because the bookies just cant get a handle on him. There is absolutely no info about him No rumours for or against No comments from him or his club. Starting to think he actually doesn't exist
Just hoying a random name out there since there's a flight just landed at Ponteland from Hannover. There's a lad from Wolfsburg called Aaron Briggs. English assistant coach, Worked at Monaco, Worked at Man City for nearly a decade, 36 year old, Similar profile to Will Still
Waiting for the missus flight to land and noticed this private jet from Hannover. Been sat searching potential candidates from clubs near Hannover while waiting for her
That’s a great shout that mate. For someone so young that’s a cracking CV And there’s an incoming plane involved so doubly good
The bookies have him there because of the amount of money going on him and not because of any in s de info they might have
