A few decent shots by Johnson and a couple of very dodgy penalty decisions involving Spurs players. Johnson doesn't get one at one end and Davies gives away a bullshit one at the other. The referee was Matej Jug from Slovenia. Made some controversial decisions in Portugal's late comeback v Ireland in 2021.
Coincidentally... please log in to view this image Bren would've got a six match ban for that in the Premier League...
Germany and France faced each other yesterday in the U17 World Cup Final. Germany stereotypically won on penalties.
The AFCON teams have all announced their provisional 55 man squads. That's not an error, by the way. 55 players. Sarr and Bissouma are included, as is Bentaleb. There's probably other ex-Spurs players, but it's a lot to go through!
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67824907 So many Forest players called up (perhaps that is why they preemptively signed all those players last season - to the general bemusement of one and all) .
I noticed that Forest have 6 players going to Afcon and Asia cup, but what does that matter with a squad of 60
The AFCON kicks off on Saturday and the BBC has 10 matches. Sky has all 52, but I thought they were all on Youtube anyway. Might be blocked in the UK. The hosts, Ivory Coast, open against Guinea-Bissau on Saturday at 8pm. Might miss that one...
