I'd be livid if they've sacked mowbray and appointed Eric roy for **** sake. He isn't what we need and isn't going in the same direction as us. **** sake man.
He wouldn't be my first choice but he came in and kept Brest up last season and now has them in 7th, not sure he would be the worst choice.
Maybe wait until we've appointed someone before you get yourself all wound up I mean, Kin hell do you ever not moan or grumble ?
I was just slipping into that long term cosy relationship with TM at the helm, floating along nicely and then wallop. You aren’t getting comfy with this club you old fart this is Sunderland, it’s been over a year since we’ve had a sacking, take that you f ucker and start panicking again.
There's nowt wrong with a good panic... some need it to resolve their conflicts... each to their own. Dear God, please forgive me for not praying to you sooner.
Encouraging for me. I like this quiet. doing things properly. Mowbray took 4 days to appoint at that was universally seen as really quick, we are currently at 2.5 days. People need to relax.
We all knew before the appt though didnt we. Seems like this time nee bugger knows nowt. Quite right too, but I do hope this elite performance culture KLD speaks of stretches to replacing a coach they chose to get rid of. That would mean efficient and effective process, particularly with such important games on the horizon.
Isn't about 100k per game? It's not a small amount but just annoying we never seem to get a tea time kick off when they come about
Imagine those two working in the modern game, with a technical director and head of recruitment etc. Times have changed for sure.
Lol there is no way either would, but the games moved on so much since those days. If only we were brave enough to take on Clough.
Up to £100k depending on what time it's moved to, for the home team and £10k for the away team Chunk. We were on 21 times last season, not sure of the home/away split, but the money's not to be sniffed at, especially with the current Profitability and Sustainability rules.
