Matt Law says we're not likely to make a move for Lloyd Kelly in January, as he's picked up an injury

FFS, players going down with injury before we even sign them now???

Daniele Longo says we're going to try and sign him in January, and Juve are looking to balance their FFP

Given the dearth of options at LW with Perisic reportedly out for the season and Solomon out for an extended spell, certainly makes sense if we can get someone who can cross the ball, with the HG bonus also helping

Voetball Primeur claim that Union Saint-Gilloise have placed a €15m pricetag on Koki Machida, which immediately has me checking to see if Roma are still interested in Eric Dier for January

Other sources, meanwhile, claim that Genoa have put a €30m pricetag on Radu Dragusin - though the sheer volume of clubs linked with him for January, something tells me that the fee is less of a concern than the wages he'd be offered

The real question is whose attitude do we wish Nom Belly didn't have

    Stephane Dalmat?

We’re apparently monitoring (another) Juve kid called Mattias Soule.

Don’t know anything about him other than that he’s supposedly likened to Di Maria but we should sign him nonetheless. Done well shopping at Juve in the past. Good omen if you ask me.

Sounds like an agent gambit to me, given he's scored 6 in 11 on loan at Frosinone or, to put it another way, he's scored almost 1/3 of their 20 league goals this season and especially because Juve are reportedly drawing up a new contract (his current one expires at the end of the season, though Juve have an option to extend it by two years) after he was considered for a spot in the Italy squad last month - so Cuti will give him hell in training if we did sign him

Nizaar Kinsella says that Juve have set the fee for £15.5m

I mean fleecing Juve is always fun, and we have plenty of CAA Base clients in our squad already, and the fact we get a HG prospect out of it is too good to pass up - especially given how many of our LWs are out for the season at this point

    :::UPDATE:::

Daniele Longo says we're in contact

Here's an interesting thing: even though he was with Chelsea between 2011-20 he somehow only has two seasons counting towards HG status...but if we sign him in January we would just about get him across the line in time for his 21st birthday next October

Tottenham seem to be doing a much better job getting the fans licking the clubs arse now tbf. I do wonder if they've looked at the nufc blueprint.

My immediate thought is that Hugo is off to MLS in January, so we're shoring up the No2

    ...might need to rephrase that

Didn’t he turn down moves away?

He’s still being paid a handsome amount of money for basically just training isn’t he?

I think it was because he was only offered number two spots. Makes little sense to leave for that.

He's mentoring Vicario behind the scenes, according to Vicario himself

IIRC he turned down Nazio as they expected him to be a No2, while he turned down Nice as they called him an hour before the window closed but gave him no assurances about playing time or what their vision was going forward

At his age and after last season, is he likely to get a number one spot anywhere though?

Surely better retiring than going to MLS or the Middle East. The quality of football is still dire. Unless he’s just after a last big payday

I don’t think he would compromise his legacy by joining the Saudi sportwashing league,
