I remember watching him few years ago and thinking he had a bit of Mcmanaman about him. My mates well into the Italian footy reckons he's too easily knocked of the ball to make it in the prem and we may as well have kept Aquaman as sign this fella.

Anyway how many replacements for Gerrard do we need <laugh>

I'd love us to get him if the rumors are true, he's certainly a very good player. From what I've seen of him he's a very classy midfielder he's like a more mobile version of Andrea Pirlo the only worry would be if he could adapt to the PL but he would be worth the risk. The problem as it says in the rumor article is if we don't make a move in jan for him he will be on a free in the summer and our chances of landing him then would be reduced.

The problem with Italians they always fall in to the stereotypical category of too lightweight for the prem but also very creative, which I think is a bit of a myth. Anyway, hands down I don't know much/anything about this guy...I haven't played Champ Manager for a few years. <yikes>

Only trouble is, where would we play him? He wouldn't be guaranteed a starting berth with Adam in there. Maybe He'd fit in a 4-5-1, RCM, with Adam on his left and Lucas in behind. Not sure if he's really a CAM, but haven't seen much of him.
