I am only alienated by ignorance and your views while forthright and sometime contry to my own are not ignorant.

I am very impressed by your research, I think I'm probably Norman French with a little Romany and Irish in the mix and probably Viking on the other side but I can't go back as far as you with any certainty. Mind you the Norman probably makes me Danish anyway!

As for Queen Victoria' s greed it had one half of my family down the pits and the other half in poverty so I have nothing to apologise for.

I had you down as a Telegraph man, but the football league paper is a great read at the moment for some reason.

Is that aimed at me, Terry?

Have I made an error? I hope not. I shall have to wear my hairshirt if that is the case!

Thank you, Leaburn - I appreciate your kind words.

I have visited so many crypts, antechambers and scriptoriums that I can now see in the dark - but I have an awful squint as a result. It is getting the permission to visit such places that requires the patience of a saint. Bishops and other senior clergymen are not easily impressed.

Hahaha all foreigners sleep 47 to a room and pay no tax hahaha, racialists are funny, I like how they just have a fishbowl full of spinach where everyone else would have a brain, I think maybe they should just realise that only people as stupid as they are will agree with them, so they should stick to posting their made-up rubbish on places like Charlton Loyal, where one chip switcher is currently saying that all refugees in the UK get given £27k a year by the government and all the other fish rubbers are getting cross over his stupid made up fact as if they are too stupid to know it's made up, seriously typical this is not606 we have IQs above single figures, take your rubbish to somewhere like Charlton Loyal or Charlton Life where there may be people stupid enough to believe you if you believe their own lies in exchange, we're too clever on not606 for your toaster tickling catnip you soup drinking earmuncher no offence.

How about UEFA’s football club financial stability proposals? Will this lead to an increase in costs for fans OR a restriction on players’ wages?

Or just a discussion on the price of Bovril in North Upper?

Media quote:
Manchester City face a race against the clock to comply with UEFA's financial fair play regulations after announcing record-breaking losses of £197.5million, fuelled by a massive annual wage bill of £174million.

I think we best stick to the discussion of Bovril <laugh>

But surely the signings of Milner, Johnson etc shouldn't factor in to this?

But what about if they signed Scottish, welsh or northern Irish players? David Healy deserves one more crack at the big time.

Going to throw my tuppence in...

Without wishing to convey my own personal opinion (through the inevitability of personal insults being sent my way), your [Typical] argument fails because;

a) You complain that foreign workers are working in foreign 'restaurants'
Would you walk out of an Italian restaurant because your waitress is not English?

b) You state that the difference between Jorge Costa/Mark Fish is that the former don't sleep 20 to a room
By sleeping 20 to a room surely they are freeing up houses for English people? I would presume Costa and Fish own large houses, numerous properties and plenty of cars.

c) Your source is the Sunday Mail
Jonathan Acworth told me David Beckham is going to buy out Welling....I can't wait

d) Chris Powell's descendants are not English
If you're so opposed to foreign workers then where does the line stop? Is an immigrants son allowed to be here and be classed as English? Their Grandson? Their great-grandson?
