Needs to be quick and a successful appointment for me. This is Speakman’s last manager unless it brings success. If we are in the same place in 12 months and another manager leaves blaming the model, then Speakman will have to go too. Will be an uncomfortable time for KLD if that’s how it plays out
TM was able to work with and get all our players working well, despite youth and inexperience except for the strikers. The fact that not one of the strikers club have brought in, seem to be able to score, is the main reason, imo, Tony has been sacked. That, plus defensively we haven't been great recently either. The data based recruitment has worked everywhere, so the club will be thinking why hasn't it at the top of the pitch. Conclusion is Tony. Not saying that's right, or if they are right not to give him more time to turn it around (some may say he's earned it). But I'm confident we have a list of potential successors lined up.
Wouldn't surprise me if there's some truth in this Burstow crack. Equally wouldn't surprise me if there was some truth in divides in the dressing room. The young foreign lads not integrating etc.
A lad I vaguely know is pally with O’Nien I won’t go into how he knows him but the only foreign lad I was told hadn’t integrated was lihadji and that Ba could be stroppy, this was in the summer just after Luton mind so can’t comment on the new lads that have come in since
