The thread for 'Just For RAWhite' you created.....couldn't be more fitting.....huge popularity for such a popular guy.
Sad news, and a bit of a shock. Never met him personally, but you could just tell he was one of the good ones. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends. Thoughts with all those who knew him on here as well, there's some very heartfelt comments . R.I.P. Allan, you will be a big miss, but you're memory will live on.
A very sad time. By having a thread created in his name showed how well he was thought of. My deepest condolences to his family, his friends and to all who knew him
One of our founding members. I never met him but I know he was held in very high esteem on this board. RIP mate X
Sad news indeed. He stuck up for me on occasions when I got into verbal rucks on here, when others wouldn’t. Certainly someone on here I wish I’d met. So RIP Mr RAW, and condolences to your family and friends. Bart
Very sorry and sad to hear that. Always seemed a top bloke and people who knew him couldn't have thought more highly of him.
A fan I never met but like others you got a feel for on this forum. RIP, condolences to family and friends. Sad news indeed.
Sad news RIP Mr RAW we keep the thread going as a tribute to someone who was clearly respected by all who knew him. Condolences to his family and a loss to our group.
Gutted to hear this. He sorted me some England tickets once and we had a bit craic and he was a smashing fella. RIP
A proper, decent, old fashioned man. I had the privilege of having a pint and a chat with him in the club on several occasions and he was always great company. God bless you Allan. ❤️
Never met RAW and gutted hearing this news. A true legend of the board and gentleman to boot. Thoughts and best wishes with his family and friends on here.
I was talking to my good friend, Dave Ashfield, just yesterday and mentioned I'd been sorting out our Christmas decorations when I'd come across my big black overcoat. "It's an omen Dave and it could have your name on it!" As always he took my daft humour in good part ... ... I never thought I'd be needing it so soon. I'd like to think Alllan would see the funny side, he would imo.
I am absolutely gutted to hear this horrible, sad news. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but ... ... once I booked a flight over for me & the bairn for a West Ham away game. All of a sudden the Club changed the way away tickets were allocated and it seemed we would come over for nothing as we wouldn't be allocated tickets, and I moaned about it on the board. Allan's reaction was to get down the ticket office and demand his loyalty points (or whatever they're called) could be mixed with mine to try & get me & lad into the game. That's the sort of bloke he was.
