Can see it being somebody who manages at under 23 / B team level. Like the schalke guy somebody mentioned earlier. doubt it will be anybody currently employed as a first team manager
Was just thinking we always seem to give them the bullet around the 2 year mark so Keane, O’niell, Bruce etc will probably be just under 100!
Madness in my opinion when we should be culminating stability that most all were wanting. Brought the best football in my lifetime to the club....I wish him well. Just hope we don't have a 'Rooney' situation where the next Messiah comes in and we don't win a game......where do we go from there if that happened....I suppose cross that bridge if we get there.
no names, only it's someone not long finished playing mate. I was going post on the board when I found out, but thought I'd run it through someone via PM that gets credible reliable information but even they hadn't heard anything at the time.
Come to think of it to people actually hang their boots up? I haven’t played for a few years and my boots are somewhere in the shed
Well what a shocker, but why are we so surprised? Points wise we’re in relegation form, and performances have fallen off a cliff. It’s just as well we have points on the board. Never was behind TMs appointment, but took to him last season, because of the blistering football we were playing. However, for whatever reason we never showed up in the playoffs, and despite a good start, we’ve gone backwards since October. His demeanour in front of camera, was embarrassing IMO, and the constant blaming of our new forwards was becoming boring. So thanks Tony for some good memories last season, and best wishes for the future. Now praying for the right appointment, just hope it’s not a mag or a smog! Bart
Didier Digard is managing Nice B team. Was interim boss before they brought in Farioli. 48% WR at Nice last season in 25 games, losing only 5. It’s him. He’s my choice av read all I need to know
There must be issues we know little about. Mowbray didn't share his Revels with Speakman, that's a fact.
Bloody hell. Been offline most of the day. Just saw the news. Shocker. Thought they would have given him time to turn things around. Young team so was expecting some rough patches. But I'm not worried about the club having someone lined up. It was mentioned several times that they have a constantly updating list of successors. The players have shown they can play fast exciting football, so we should be able to attract the type of head coach we want. The only question is who would be happy to work as head coach and not a full manager. Potter would be awesome, but unlikely (not ruling it out though ). No clue who it's likely to be though. It might surprise us all
