Get this club moving forward, build the squad and promotion. Then top 5. Then Barcelona interview him after recommendation from Pep. Sound familiar.
Your sick l tell you! ….. and besides, he’s only just joined, he’ll have to wait until 3 months were up, surely!
According to the BBC Colback was injured. Whatever, I’m sure it was always the plan to put Chair on at half time, hopefully to replace Colback who doesn’t look right in this team. The Great Escape is on, but there might be a couple of tunnel collapses on the way. And of course only 3 of the 73 escapees got away and 50 of the ones who were recaptured were shot. So scrap that analogy.
Bags me not one of the ones shot please. Can't believe I have a weekend off hating football and fearing the Saturday afternoon depression What fun Going to put up the Christmas decorations in celebration
That was a very good performance especially 2nd half. Probably our best for a year at least. Everyone played well, 2nd half attacking in numbers with Chair, Willock, Smyth, Dykes, Dozzell, EDB, Paal and Larkeshe at just 1 up was a great watch. Willock scoring again. If you don't see Dozzell look at what must of been a 60 yard pass for Paal for our 1st goal. Chair had his best game in ages, more direct, sharp, fresh probably because he knew he just needed to do it for 45 minutes. Begovic didn't put a foot or hand wrong.
Still early days as MS believes in using the whole squad. There will be games where he may be better suited to the occasion than others if only because of his experience. Against some of the better teams we can't always rely on younger talents.
Had we gone a goal down early yesterday would have been a completely different game. I think the tactics and players required were spot on. Colback is however a constant red card waiting to happen.
