First win in ten away matches live on Sky on a Friday night! Great second half, Chair was quality and we played some lovely football. Three points, a clean sheet and back to back wins. It's going to be a great weekend.
Sat in the car, thawing my fingers out to type this. ****ing get in!! First half was pretty boring with Preston slightly on top but we kept a great shape. 2nd half excellent!! Colback off (lucky to start in my opinion) Chair on who laid both goals on. Dykes hold up play was the best I've ever seen from him. Kenneth Kante as he is now known was also excellent, in fact the passing in the second half was a joy to watch. Nobody had a bad game. All subs had a purpose rather than just a hope that we got used to under Ainsworth. Man of the match for me, watching live had to be clarke- salter. If he can ever stay fit then he will be the best centre half in the league. Cifuentes is implementing his style, a million times better than any of our previous managers. I can feel my toes now, so a steady drive home and work in the morning feeling very positive for once.
A bit harsh on Colback, but at HT it was blatently obvious that Chair should come in to win the match, AND HE ****ING DID!
Two away goals, a clean sheet, 3 points and back-to-back wins with 6 goals scored in the process. What is there not to like? Very smart tactics from the manager and good discipline and execution from the team. The first half was ugly, but the second was very efficient. Thanks for a good job done and we have a full weekend to enjoy and celebrate!
He does a job but it hinders our fluid passing and movement. As long as Field is there then I'd like to see a more attacking and more explosive player next to him . Dixon Bonner did his chances no harm again when he came on, once he learns composure he's gonna be a very decent player imo
I do like what Paal is doing in the midfield, him and Field just mopped up everything and gave us total control..... That was not football from a bottom 3 side.....
Hats off for being there in that cold. Marti interview on Sky was great. No clichés, demanding more still, with a lot of praise for the players. Comes across very well.
