He played well first half yeah, haven’t doubted that for a second. He just needs to do more. It’s all well and good having a good first half against Rotherham, but he was shocking against Swansea and Huddersfield so like HT says, he’s clearly capable of more, he just needs to get his head down. Can’t fault his work ethic but that’s a bare minimum for any player isn’t it? He’s not producing consistently enough to keep getting by on pressing well and running into the ground, especially when the position he occupies will be so key to getting over the line at the top end of the table.

I hope he kicks on now after the goal, because he looked the real deal in the first half. But they were worse then the massive IMO so let’s hope it can be shown against better opposition tomorrow

Think we'd be lacking a bit of engine if neither Twine or Slater were in there. Watching Rotherham back I thought he was lucky for his goal dropping to him but unlucky on other occasions not to get more.

    City’s match report says
“Jacob Greaves went on an incredible run that almost saw a goal of the season contender, but a brilliant block by the onrushing Johansson denied the defender”
I thought the keeper saved it too.

Twine needs to do more (in terms of end product) but given the choice between him and Longman, it's Twine every single time for me.
