It’s typical though of what amounts to regulation these days. These huge organisations police themselves. If they don’t do it properly, there is nobody to enforce the laws/rules or hold them to account.
In the case of Twitter there's no policing, Exlax fired the safety team and has bots handle it Here's a few problems with bots * They only recognise terms you teach them to look for, so the term used in the tweet isn't on record so the bot assumes it's fine * They are so easy to circumnavigate by swapping out character, for example I saw someone get away with using the n-word because the i they used was the Spanish version which bots don't pick up on like a human being would * They cannot understand blatant dogwhistles like a human being can * The platform's run by the one person on earth who agrees with Ian Miles Cheong
Enjoying a pint for my 34th in the local where sea breezes, icy winds and snowfall has had its fun with the town today. Far better than when I was on the beach in Mellieha, Malta enjoying some November sun for my 30th… far better
You could come round mine and ask for a cup of tea without saying please or thank you and Mrs Conn would slap you silly for nothing
Happy Birthday mate , do you live in the town with the massive hill to the right if you look out to sea ?
Halfway up the one to the right you can find one of my lungs that I coughed up while cycling up it , that is some climb
Many thanks all, much appreciated . I’ve made it home from the pub, just about survived the weather, it’s getting harder in my old age
