Another reason I want it to happen soon is because I really like him. One of my favourite ever managers. It would be “nice” if he could leave before that diminishes.

Definitely don’t want to see him sacked tonight or tomorrow tho. It needs to be when a new manager is ready to come in. And I’d be really surprised if somebody was ready to go.

And I definitely definitely don’t want 2-3 games or the proctor and Dodds show :D

One change from last season I really don’t get is bringing Hume into midfield and not keeping him wide. I know it’s frustrating when Roberts/Clarke try and take 2/3 on but they’re always so isolated. Last season you’d have Roberts, Amad and Hume out wide giving options or cirkin going round Clarke. Wingers just get outnumbered easily this year and takes magic to create something

The new manager was ready to come in, who is 2nd in Ligue 1, but didn't happen coz the fans kicked off.
He's a good bloke but a mid table championship manager

I'm not one to normally come on and share my point of view. 7 points from the last 24 available is very poor. Side is too predictable, eg ball to Clarke and runs into blind alley, or passes to Jobe, so easy to defend. Is it just me but I can't remember our team walking for about half the match, I'm sure we ran a lot more last year. I think Jobe and Clarke need dropping. Clarke looks very down and frustrated, maybe he needs a couple of matches off, Jobe will burn out if we don't give him time off. I know he didn't play international week, but thats only 1 week, even Tony thought he needed a rest before hand but keeps playing him. I'll join the o9 debate and suggest he is not the captain so he can be dropped, as he is not in form either. As someone as also suggested I agree we need our fullbacks helping the wingers. I hope Rusyn was injured because if he wasn't I believe that is bad management by Tony. If Tony persists like this with his favourite players all the time I can't see him been here at Xmas which is a shame because I like him. I expect abuse but this is my opinion only

sorry, no chance. And it’s delusion to think a manager on a run he’s on, on the trajectory and journey he’s on, would give that up to come to us.

You seriously believe the owner didn't replace the coach because the fans kicked off?

    I disagree, more potential here.
But unfortunately the point stands, Mowbray, for as nice and and as good has he's been is not getting enough out of this team

Didn’t watch tonight so won’t comment too much on individuals because I’ve no idea who performed however the point I’ve reinforced for weeks still stands - TM has his mind set on who he wants to play whether it’s square pegs in round holes or not. It’s obvious he has favourites in the team. I don’t like the excuses about the strikers and that’s all it is, excuses.

I think our squad is very good for this level and TM is a decent manager but his stubbornness will get him sacked.

football management is way too short term for him to give up the LIKELY chance to get back to back promotions and become a premier league manager, so that he can come here and try to get promoted over a few seasons.

People place way way way too much emphasis on us being a “big club” or having a “plan”. Most clubs have a “plan”, it just feels alien to us because we haven’t had one for decades

for me the difference between this season and last isn’t mowbray, it’s the absence of amad, plus the 5 goals (I think) steward got us last year before his injury.
