I'm not sure I agree with that (depending on how you meant it). There's no point in sacking him tonight in my opinion. However, we should be making sure the process of finding the new head coach is under way and once that thorough search is completed and we're confident we have an upgrade, then make the move. We don't need to "roll the dice" as in gamble on the next man immediately. We can afford to take our time, promotion isn't on the cards this year.
Mowbray needs to pick a formation and stick with it. Last season we seemed to play 4-2-3-1, this season we look wide open in midfield no matter how we set up. And as for strikers, we need to give them service and a run of games no matter what instead of chopping and changing
yeh this is where I’m at. no point sacking him if ideal replacement isn’t there ready to go. But if he is… then I agree I don’t see why not right now.
I’m one of the biggest happy clappers going here and I’m struggling to disagree with this after tonight, would love nothing more than mowbray to turn it around but it seems the plan is hope Clarke produces of that fails just hoy anyone and everyone on and pray
Really, really poor recently! Feels like we are going backwards not forwards! Shoehorning players into a system that doesnt suit them Players looking devoid of confidence in themselves and playing ‘too safe’ Lack of urgency and creativity is telling
Hate this phrase, ‘happy clappers’ what does it even mean? People who have a different opinion to you? Say what you want and debate, some will agree, some won’t. Don’t need Ready To Go forum labels on here. Personally, I thought that was crap. I wouldn’t pull the trigger, but I do think we need some investment up top in January. Would the money for 4 strikers not up to it have been better spent on one decent striker, I think so.
It was more fun than watching another loss. 51 shots in the last two games. We’re going to batter someone soon.
To be completely honest, I think it’s probably time for Tone to move on - and that isn’t a rash decision off the back of one defeat. Genuinely feel someone with a bit more tactical nous would be able to get a lot more out of this group. Feels to me that he’s taken us as far as he can.
And there it is, reading on here and over the road the majority have turned. Just a case of when not if now
We need someone in Jan to get a hold of the midfield too Dan Neil is so isolated at times it’s no wonder we’re wide open to the counter, Clarke needs a proper out and out full back to work with was left alone of the left side so much tonight he misses cirkin so much even Huggins Atleast offers an overlap, soon as Hume steps in it hinders Clarke
We have no idea if the ones we have are good or bad because we don't give them any service. Mayenda made some great runs tonight and maybe got the ball twice.
