Not a chance Huggins is dropped for O’nien at LB mind I don’t think even TM is that daft. Has to have picked up a knock surely he’s been quality

A bit harsh on Huggins unless he’s feeling a bit fatigued

Let’s see how much influence adil has from the offset

firstly I don’t think he’s dropped. It’s a freezing cold night and he will have tired muscles. Good decision to rest him.

Secondly if Hume is stepping into midfield, then actually Seelt may well then step inside to make three at back in possession. Whilst this reduces our wide options without an overlapping full back, it allows both Jobe and Aouchiche to both push on and support Mayenda.

I think most of us would be happy with that team, we needed a change and we've got it with Adil starting and Jobe dropping back. No idea how Seelt is at RB but presumably he's not bad there and it gives us the extra height.

Be good to have a proper look at Mayenda as well.

The beauty of this is we are all guessing at rhe formation, which means so are the opposition.

    Gutted to be missing this

Presumably those who wanted changes will still be unhappy because the changes don't suit them.

It’s a very exciting team. Seelt playing instead of Huggins gives the midfielders more scope to attack. Like when City play Ake at left back.

I agree, a very attacking team with Aouchiche and Mayenda with Clarke and Roberts ...

... we've dreamt about teams like this to watch.

Clarke's as good as most strikers and Roberts will score tonight.

Really Huggins left out, no Rusyn in sight but Jobe and Roberts starting again was that what we all wanted , hope this is a fitness problem and not plan B

A front 5 of big old Mayenda, with Clarke and Roberts either side, and a tricky Aouchiche and Jobe with freedom following up behind, is an enticing thought for sure

Interesting team selection. They will sit in and it is up to us to break them down. We must move the ball quicker than we have recently. Aouchiche the key

A long hard night in store , but think we’ll scrape it. A goal for a striker to spark their confidence.
    Thankyou as always , RTB
