hard to leave with death threats and 2mil a week to keep you there. his own greed has pinned him there.
That penalty decision against Newcastle was ridiculous. Clearly bounces up off his chest first. The VAR should never have referred it to the ref and how the ref then decides to give it is inexplicable.
I see Chelsea are rejecting all interest in broja. i can only conclude they want nobody to know how poor he is and want him sold in the summer to balance ffp.
my heart bleeds. I note they made absolutely no comments of any "help" when the time came to fix VAR after horrendous errors in the spurs LFC match. In actual fact their lot just sniped at klopp etc.
City had to ring up var hq in uefa to ensure their "comeback" i see. Nice to know they are bungable I suppose.
the VAR has been stood down from his next match, He only made the referral. The ref made the decision to give the pen.
classic blame game. how dare you put pressure on the ref to look at it. how dare you say he made an obvious error.
Like with our equalising goal at Toulouse, the VAR re-refereed the situation. That's not what it's intended for. There was no clear and obvious error.
Newcastle rode their luck in the second half, should have conceded a penalty when Gordon tripped PSG lad in the box. The handball was not a penalty but karma I suppose
The point is that we know they should have backed Klopp because ultimately it's in the best interests of all clubs to have these errors eliminated. So for that same reason it's in our interest to condemn equally any terrible refereeing decisions and the inappropriate and incompetent use of VAR - regardless of what we think of the victim. We should all want to see the right decisions made.
I will speak for myself, although the sentiment is probably universal, and say you can't always be noble when required to be so in a sports context. There's a mischievous pleasure sometimes in seeing your rivals get a taste of their own medicine in these poor decisions. While I am all for things that are in the best interests of all clubs, when some of those clubs don't appear to be acting that way themselves, the recent vote re. 3rd party loans (or whatever it's called) being one example, I afford myself a quiet smile when they are stitched up.
they've shown zero inclination to have the good of anything in mind so after that I wish them all pain and agony possible to get them to see sense cos it will take just about everyone of them to have an absolute shocker for any of them to see sense. but fans seem to just want it gone totally.
utd hilarity continues. bayern are already qualified but can "put utd out" if they are bothered on match day 6. utd must win to stand any real chance.
Dodgy keeper once again. Dodgy Bruno as well - smart goal, works hard but gives away two silly fouls leading directly to goals.
They should have back Liverpool and Klopp but Jurgen ****ed up by mentioning a replay (in any regard), it instantly became a joke and took the attention away from the major refereeing ****-up.
There’s an interesting article on the BBC sports page today about FSG and ownership. Reason I found it interesting is because when someone wants to bash the owners suddenly net spend gets brought into the equation and how tight fisted the owners are Implying that Klopp is being restricted despite being one of the world’s best managers. yet that outlook is never echoed at any other time Very strange
