I have been accused of being too vociferous against our manager today, so have posted this thread to contain that feeling in. Christ knows why I should be concerned and voice those opinions , as we are doing so well this season but voice them I have nevertheless, seemingly upsetting the more gentile amongst you in the wake of it.

So, I wont post anymore anti-Bruce threads until after the Wigan game. We all know that Saturday was a massive let down (again) and that this week will be a mammoth task for a hapless and clueless Bruce to get his tactics, team selections and formations right for next Saturday, so I will let his actions prove to be his best defence. I'm happy to give him enough rope and fully expect (sadly) him to hang himself come 5pm next Saturday.

Lets see what next weekend brings eh?

Attack is the best form of defence! Who can argue with Manchester United? They were beaten 5-0 off the mags and returned the favour by going one better! Viva la Sir Fergie!

Bruce will show his true colours this weekend mate... All out bombardment! 5-2 get yabetson.

Its a horrible catch 22 that ive never known as a Sunderland fan. I think its obvious that Bruce needs to go. 2 home wins in a year, its unbelievable that he's still in the job. I obviously always want us to win bit a win against wigan i feel will just drag out this Pathetic whimpering we call a season. i have a scenario in mind.

Scenario A. We beat wigan and Bruce remains as manager
Scenario B. We lose to wigan, sack Bruce appoint a new manager (hopefully oneil)

I honestly fear the worst with A and still think we could go down. B and I think wed be comfortably mid table and be able to push on with a proper manager at the helm.

    Yup...

If Bruce ****s up against Wigan.... He is on the road to taking over the mantle of Laurie McMenemy.

If we beat Wigan and Bruce transforms his mind, we move forward.

First of all I have to say that I was not happy with the team selection and tactics that were deployed against Fulham who in my opinion were there for the taking.
Secondly, what makes people think that O'Neil would be interested in coming here? I honestly don't think he would be interested in a job where his head would be on the block when things don't go well. After all, the league table does show that Bruce has so far improved the teams position in his time here, and yet he finds himself public enemy number one.
My hope is that Bruce can learn from his mistakes and continue our progress.

Cest. The thick twat couldn't even get that right. I bet he would tie a 15ft rope to jump from a 14ft window.

I've gone from being an ardent BIB to being a IDGAFABA.
Don't get me wrong I'd still love Bruce to succeed as results will have to improve.
It's all starting to stack up against Bruce. The last 5 months last season, 2 wins from 12 this season, Playing with one dedicated striker at home, Inept substitutions...
It's not looking great. Is it?

Alright Cest - I am firmly on the fence still but think the Bruce Out side of things has taken over now.
Unfortunately, I sit in front of a tosser who, when we played stoke, celebrated EVERY GOAL by shouting Bruce Out
That annoys me - by all means come on a forum and do it or do it at the end of a game but support the ****ing team when you're at the game!!! (not aimed at you mate)
He seems to prefer us to do badly and seems to simply want us to fail
Whilst I am on the fence, I hope Bruce is here at the end of the season having proved us all wrong - but playing Sessegnon up front certainly isn't going to do that (or Ji on what I saw on Saturday!)

Marcus, the team have had my un-swerving loyalty and vocal support for 36 years. I may come on here frothing at the mouth but I wasn't one actually shouting Bruce out at the weekend.

    I won't be either.

That said, I do want him gone and won't deny another the right to have his say at games.

Bruce is the orchestrator of his own downfall mate. His poor tactics, team selections and formations have led up here today. Fans are starting to fight amongst themselves now and its ugly.

How ugly it gets before all hell breaks loose may be determined by this coming weekends result mate. You can't blame loyal fans for being pissed off when they have seen only 2 wins in 14 home attempts can you?

Ive never vocalised at a game that i want Bruce out but i can't blame those who do. I knew as soon as Colback shot came back off the bar that we weren't gonna to score on Saturday. The fans on whole took longer and were right behind the team and it wasn't until 80 odd minutes till i heard the first Bruce out chant and then that was only a handful of people.

Niall Quinn was there but I couldn't see Mr.Short. If it goes wrong against Wigan I think there'll be a few thousand leave early and a few thousand make there voices heard. That certainly won't go unnoticed

Mr Raw I see that even you are starting to have doubts about SBs credentials as a manager, he must be dire in that case!

I watched that game on Saturday and thought to myself..if this is progress then we are screwed. Also if I were Gardiner, I would have been in Bruces offices this morning and tell him I want out in January. As soon as Clattermole got booked he was ineffective (although good goal line clearance)
It comes to something when after only two homes wins this year we are praying for a win against Wigan to get us and Bruce out of the s h i t again. Its plain and simple. If we beat Wigan its papering over the cracks...we get beat or draw..he HAS to go. The man is clueless..I have lost complete faith in him. Come on Short...get rid of him.
