in other news ramos sent off for the 29th time. the only game of note he was not sent off in was the 2018 cl final where he deliberately injured salah.
Didn’t see the whole Everton United game but from the 60 odd mins I saw it was just all Everton and should probably have been 4-1 up at HT. Really don’t know what to make of United. League tables shows them doing half decent. But at same time they won by 1 goal against majority of the lower teams and go 60 mins were outplayed by Everton and scored from a 1 in 1000 effort and a silly pen from young (who surely should be retiring now as seems a liability every time I see him?). Wonder if it is just a false dawn and will start dropping points like their performances warrant or if they’ll just keep grinding out the wins to give themselves some confidence.
Utd are a real mixed bag. They've played very little so far but have had lots of injuries so their issue is they are playing along putting rashford RW (shouldn't be there) , holjund is injured (again so martial was diabolical and in general theres little shape or confidence. city walked past them for example. Utd have newcastle away next, then cheslea at home. Anything more than 3 point sis good. Anything less says they are very weak. they have Bayern and us in short order in December as well. could be out of the CL in 4th place and beaten by us again. That would be mega crisis time.
Its amazing how many managers are all for VAR and supportive of webb etc until they get affected themselves. O'neill having a right old moan now. Kompany had a moan yet 1000% backed webb after Spurs debacle Pochettino 1000% backed VAR too.
What goes around comes around. If the VAR is in their favour no complaint, VAR against them another story.
Exactly why nothing will happen; all too interested in self benefit. Genuinely believe Klopp would still moan about obvious poor officiating even if we got the benefit
That first pen.against Wolves was dodgy as ****,Semedo clearly gets studs on the ball. And the Vinicius head in Kilmans nose was a red (well done Kilman for not collapsing like a sack of spuds btw.) Wolves robbed last night imo.
yeah, if semedo tickled the lads toe on the tackle that was it. the excuse of contact = no clear and obvious error is a total get out. again the ref made a call on kilman who as you said didn't make enough of it so again var decided to cop out and say ref must have seen it no clear and obvious error as a result. the var people seem to fall into two camps, those that don't want to ever contradict a referee decision as the refs views it and the pendants who want to query everything in slow mo for 5 mins and find the worst possible angle.
I believe he would back other managers if he thought they were genuinely shafted, whereas others just call him a whiner.
Yeah, credit to Kilman for not going down and writhing on the floor (something the lad who nodded him probably would have done). He seemed surprised more than anything, like he'd had his bum pinched or something. It's just a shame the ref doesn't see fit to dish out the appropriate punishment without the play-acting.
I haven't watched all of Wolves' games, but of the ones I have they've had some real **** decisions go against them this season.
it looks like we tired out city more than they let on. 0-2 down at home in the cl. meanwhile newcastle leads psg at their home. what an awful side and a complete waste of time..... amd psg are **** too
They're nothing special. It's what comes from playing in an inferior league all the time, I suppose - you can't step it up when it's required. Mbappe should have quit long ago.
