It had already happened when I posted:

    No new injury concerns
Rigg & Burstow back in squad
Big Tone has a chest infection

Fishpaste . I have watched Ekwahs return with interest and I don't think he is playing a badly as a lot of people are making out. Maybe he has been rushed back too quickly or just returned at the wrong time, but form is temporary and class is permanent as the cliche goes, and Ekwah is a class act no doubt in my mind. Maybe a 2 man midfield is a big ask atm who knows. Jobe may be the answer but has yet to be tested. My solution would be to try a 3/5/2 or 4/4/2 formation as the current system is leaving us too exposed to the counter attack, which most sides play against us.

Playing OK loads of possession but predictable and very vulnerable
Some difficult decisions but definitely needs to freshen things up. Adil and Pritchard to start and maybe try 2 up top at some point

Agree. Id like to see us try more through balls and/or early crosses. Seems like every time we have good possession around the box we want to walk the ball into the net

Its a learning curve for these young kids. They can pass teams to death. Maybe time to move on and up the pace a bit.
Mix things up more. We have a shape and are too often happy to stick with it seems we are quite static at times. Its hard work but time to up the work rate more movement more bodies in the box and defending as a team. Defense is exposed when we lose the ball.
Frustrating thing is we are a very good team to watch Just need that bit more work rate to be winners

If any of the Sunderland team are reading this I normally am quite extravagant and go for a high scoring win. You's have failed me miserably every time you b*stards <laugh> so I am going for a very very lucky 1-0 win with an own goal in the 92 minute.
Please prove me wrong and be 3-0 up for HT so we can all sit there relaxed And if you want repeat goal tally 2nd half please.

Cheers RTB yet another brilliant write up.

I'm always a little bit sad inside when SAFC fans can't make it to night games at home through work or travel issues. It's a magical arena under the lights imo. A young kid walking into that for the first time will be blown away. Special.
