Match Day Thread PSG V NUFC

Could be, but ce la vie right? We've given it a good go, yeah we'd all be delighted to be in the draw for the next round or the EL but It's been a good run this season and valuable experience for some of the lads - Tino, Hall, Miley, Gordon will all have benefitted from it so far so take the positive and on to the next challenge if we don't make it through and look to make Europe next season in some form.

Thing is with our strongest XI I think we probably do make it through but Pope, Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn, Tonali, Bruno, Joelinton, Almiron, Gordon, Isak needed to play every game with Tino, Targett, Longstaff, Willock, Barnes, Wilson all available to make an impact. I don't think we've had a game yet with those 17 available.

 

Just something to enjoy whatever the outcome.

A taste of the amber and nectar that will eventually become common place for us.

 

Wouldn't disagree with that, but there's still an opportunity to progress which would have a huge impact on revenues available for next summer

4 day gap from Man Utd to Everton, we just need to give it all for the next two games then at least there is a bit of rest.

 

Wonder why we always seem to play Everton away midweek night match? I think the last time we played them during the day, Ben Arfa scored?

I'm more pissed off at the club and police pandering to their's and Dortmund's Ultra's pre matches.

Can't for the life of me work out why they allowed the drums and pyro's into the stadium.

 

Yeah they are serious organised fanbases ...all that was stamped out here more or less.. our lot go over there literally in risk of being killed not just a few beers being thrown.
