I think it's something to do with ice crystals in the upper atmosphere, so common in some cold countries but much less common for the UK and as we all know now the temps plummeted last night. The bad weather thing is more folklore tales but as it is related to a drop in temps there is some substance behind it.

I even read some tale it was used by some religions as the reason for the halo's associated with faith, but I didn't read much into it, but it did leave one question for me, did it snow when Jesus was born, and the answer was probably not as snow is very rare in the area .

So why all the snow in Nativity scenes... https://www.debisimons.com/was-ther...now-at-the-time-of-the-nativity-in-bethlehem/

This is not me being religious btw, just me taking in an interest in how all the connections came about, especially considering at this time with the current conflict in Israel/Gaza/West Bank...

Pretty sure @Welshie is in his 20’s?

Sucky is early 30’s but this can fluctuate on a weekly basis.

not really. But remember at 16/17 on a Sunday playing in a side with blokes that old, thought they were grandads.
Packed in when I was 33 after two games into the season and started dialysis a week later. If it wasn’t for that I would have gone on
