That's an awful lineup. Two defensive midfield style players and cabaye in a position he's never ever played in before?

    This I like.. <ok>

If we can control the midfield then we have a chance of getting a point or even three if we play to our potential. The likes of Carrick/Anderson/Fletcher vs. Tiote/Cabaye/Guthrie.. there's only one winner there IMO. Although there wingers are much, much better than ours. If Nani's on form then Raylor will have a tough afternoon and we also need to keep Rooney and Hernandez quiet. Ben Arfa vs. Ferdinand or Evans.. haha :D

Cabaye and Guthrie to start, Tiote can come on as a sub. Obertan in for Sammy, he did OK but he isnt ready to be a starter yet. Santon in for Raylor, it's time he played.

We should start Cabaye and Tiote imo, Cabaye hasn't been able to attack as much because we're missing Tiote's excellent defensive presence and he's shown he can really excel going forward.

Guthrie has been decent from what I've seen but the midfield pairing will be better overall with Cabs and Tiote.

Ben Arfa's not going to be on the wing. Would take a significant formation change to play all 3 and Ben Arfa.

Surely the same rules apply to Tiote that mean Santon has to wait for his turn and why Ben Arfa is only starting now?

Yeah.. also does anyone have a feeling that if Best and Obertan are both fit we'll go back to the ''usual'' formation of 4-4-2 and same goes with Tiote. <ok>

I think Ben Arfa will keep his place, Pardew has been dying to play him. I think it would make more sense to drop Ba if we wanted to play Best again.

I want to include Guthrie, Cabaye and Tiote in team. I admit it's a little awful but I feel with those 3 in the team we have a very good chance of getting something.

Only way to include Guthrie, Cabaye, Tiote and Ben Arfa without putting any of them on the wing is by playing a diamond. That would get torn apart by Nani and co.

I'd go with Tash's lineup. I think Raylor should be given the benefit of the doubt for yesterday and see how he gets on against Man Utd. If he puts in a bad shift then we should start Santon against Chelsea.

i reckon HBA would play better off Best, but you cant really drop Ba due to his awesome performances.

Must admit Nani vs Raylor and Young vs Simmo terrifies me a little.

True, will be good to see that during the ACON if they're both fit.

Read Bano's rant earlier on the Ben Arfa v City article.
