Thanks for all the well good wishes I’m relieved to know I’ve woken up a year older and I’m still a **** Phew
It might have been mentioned before but I love that you can change your vote. Next time round I am going for 30 something, still plenty of time left to correct most of your mistakes.etc.
Happy birthday to all those who have had a birthday in the past and all those who have a birthday coming up in the future.
Impressively inclusive post. Even the ones who aren’t going to make their next birthday won’t know yet so can’t be upset Well played
A real blast from the past is this thread. I spent countless hours over the time I have been on here to keep the list up to date. Happy Birthday Chas Reinhold! At the top of the list of posters is still Yardley Tiger who will be 86 in mid March. Some will remember that he and my husband were class mates for 6 years in Hull and were reunited on here after over 50 years. CANADA TIGER is just behind and will be 85 on January 13th.
I’m sorry to say but yardley tiger passed away in July of this year You may have missed it https://www.not606.com/threads/rip-yardley-tiger.407707/
Better from my husband.................. Well that is so sad to hear Chazz.- wife Maggie would have been devastated as we are today. We lost contact due to our move from the Blue Mountains in July to near Port Macquarie as we had to change our email address and most of our contact details were lost including his landline telephone number- I called him for a chat about once every couple of months. We received a lovely Xmas letter from them for years detailing all their news in that year. My biggest regret is not meeting up with Clive again as we had often planned but it never came to fruition. After we made contact again on here we spent loads of happy hours identifying our old classmates, teachers and football teams from old official school photos taken back in 1954 plus our life history since we parted in 1956, including our association with Hull City. The memories come flooding back and I am truly shocked at the news. RIP Clive old friend. Your Hull City song has ended but your melody will linger on.
Thanks rt. Into my 5th year with Parkinsons and still plodding on with little health change so far. Know things will worsen with time but the many drugs I take continue to give me a near normal life. Am now 81.
