Tom Nixon is getting a lot of plaudits at Donny, one to watch for next season. Very modern full back, if we don’t go up I think he’ll be challenging Coyle for the shirt next season. Would let Christie go at present…

I went to the game, well over 6000 in attendance, Green did well in a pretty woeful York performance. Looked lively and up for it, but definitely the best of a bad bunch so don't read too much into the motm award. Nicky Featherstone had a great game for Hartlepool.
Olly Green played 72 minutes in York's 2-0 win over Oxford City. And if no one knew, Jim Simms loan ended with Darlington the other day and has returned to us. Not surprising really. Didn't seem to get much of a chance at Darlington
Speaks volumes that some were baying for Rosenior to play him (despite being injured) when we had no first team strikers fit last season. Massive gulf between youth and men's football.
A work mate of mine supports Darlington and goes to every game. He says Jim Simms looked really poor for them. He’s delighted that he has returned.

Do we have any players at Scarborough? I saw they won 5-0 today & thought I recognised a player’s name.

Does anyone know where Will Mannion finished up, he was a very highly rated keeper for the future when he was with us .
