It was clear that was exactly why he went in there along with the opportunity to build his profile and make money. It was embraced by the great British public.
One of the funniest things I find with television though, the people generally complaining about it, are the ones watching it I feel. I always laugh when I go on GC and see posters putting stuff up about GB News, how come all these haters know so much about the thing they are complaining about? The logic I drew from it was the complainers hated whoever whatever it was so much, they were the ones watching and boosting the viewing figures.
For me it’s just the Twitter algorithm pumping it into my feed. I’ve never watched the actual channel but see the ****ing thing loads. Don’t think there’s any harm in knowing what media people are consuming even if it’s not for me just as I’m not averse to reading The Times occasionally. Telegraph or Sun would be a step too far.
I generally read only two newspapers myself, which will be Kent online and if I read a national the best layout, without shhite loads of rubbish is the Guardian. I don't subscribe to The Times so I end up not having free reads. I knew nowt about the Jungle tasks because I couldn't be arsed to read any twitter bolloxs on it, plus Hancock I just see as a weird creep.
Very true - but we have to remember that, this time last year, there would still have been a sizeable number of the general public that trusted the Tory party ... surely there can't be anybody still THAT gullible?
Hope Josie wins it. She was a fabulous contestant on Big Brother. Her relationship with Jon James in the house was soooooo sweet.
Those of you old enough to remember (all of you except Sucky) will know what a good player he was. Huge player and manager for us- took us up and then to fifth in the top tier and then went to Barcelona where he killed it too.
I still remember Tel from his coaching/managing days at Palace along with Malcolm Allison, two very flamboyant characters, some of my interest in how Palace do these days stems from way back then and the influence they had within football.
