Very nice chase debut from American Mike - readily accounted for Fact To File. Two very nice novice chasers.
American Michael superb there too. Never in doubt from flag fall. Looks a very nice chase prospect. Jonbon was brilliant wasn't he. Very good and efficient, an excellent display throughout.
Falvio was majorly dissapoiting and is one to leave alone now from a betting point of view. Limerick Lace ran very well, looked to be coming with his winning run but Coko Beach did what he does best and kept on dourly to score by over 2 lengths from the selection. Small return at least.
Selection ran a good race to finish 4th at SP of 11/1, so OK for e/w and small profit. For a brief moment thought Sonigino was going to win, but in the end plugged-on well to pip the 5th home for 4th. Winner won comfortably after another excellent ride from Nico de Boinville.
I'd have thought so. They will have Allaho as their number one Ryanair horse and Energumene is out for the season
A bit more blurb on this subject: Flagship Uberalles had previously carried the colours stars and stripes silks of Michael Krysztofiak and his wife Elizabeth Gutner. Explaining their decision to sell, American Krysztofiak said: “A lot of it came down to the amount of travelling we had to do. The last trip we made to the Tingle Creek was especially tiresome. An opportunity occurred to sell the horse and we decided to take it. We have had a lot of success with Flagship, but we have been brow-beaten by some hostile press coverage, and that has taken a lot of the joy and fun out of it.” Source: "Irish Examiner"
Does anyone subscribe to the racing post? If you wouldn't mind I'd like to know what the trainer said about royale pagaille in the stable tour. I can't find one anywhere else. Thank you
What was the standout performance or effort that maybe didn't seem as obvious to many over the weekend then? We know the obvious cases such as Jonbon and Facile Vega etc but what horse that either won or ran well in behind that could be seen as under the radar?
The Gangsta Martin horse has to be backed next time out but it wont have gone unnoticed. Looking toward the Festival and I think that Pilgrim has a very exciting looking bet running on BURDETT ROAD.
JP horse - 2nd Race Navan - Had my eye on it before hand to the future, would either win, or..keep an eye out for Limerick on Dec 26th and a 2m3f mares maiden hurdle. JP will have the family down for the day!
