https://www.dementiauk.org/ Very worthy cause. Hopefully they don't have a minimum donation threshold.
I hope the injury gods decimate them. I also hope that they increase the deduction as they';re chucking their toys out and appealing it. Can't just make **** up about your accounts and expect it to be ok.
It’s being appealed. But will honour if points are deducted. In fact will make it £10 as it’s a great cause.
It seems a bit daft because it just depends on how the season is going, other teams in the league etc. It couldn't have happened at a better time for Everton, just got some points on the board, 3 of the worst teams that have ever been in the PL, they will stay up easy anyway. You could be about to win the league then they dock you points so finish 2nd, that's a huge blow. But you could be 7th, get docked and finish 12th, then it doesn't really matter. It's just about the timing of when you get hit, which is silly.
It’s being appealed. Not sure how working with the PL and being open has led to this. Next home game, Goodison will be rocking, will be like that all season.
I don't particularly like points deductions, because I think it penalises more than the club involved. Take Juventus last year, what was it 30 point deduction, they were in Champions Leaague position, then they weren't - then points returned and back in it, then back out again as a points deduction got added for something else, the other clubs don't know what players to play in whatever game, because they don't know the value of the fixtures, will they replace Juventus or not, it just becomes a fiasco. Same will happen with Everton and the clubs around them on appeal, if this fiasco plays out again.
Grand Old Team forum is an interesting place. Moaning that for how far over the threshold they were, it's not fair what's happening. It wasn't fair on the other clubs, that were relegated who did comply with financial fair play. Play with feathers, get tickled.
I don't really understand any of this shhite like you lads, I'm just here for the bantz. I just think whatever is going on it just makes a mockery of the game, and in the end that's all I can do is laugh at it. I'm not even laughing Everton, it's just all a big joke to me. I gave my thoughts after the government stepped in to help Chelsea out over the Russian money, but any other business in the UK would have been allowed to go under. Much like that Rose woman for NatWest and her data breach, any other employee would have been marched out the door without getting a further penny, one rule for one and a completely different one for everyone else. Football and people like that turn the financial sector into a joke, a very unfair joke.
I don't really know what to say on that. You go do that over some fabricated rivalry. Like Palace Brighton
Everton are safe, absolute best season to receive a points deduction this. The bottom three are so bad, Burnley don't even have a right back at the club I think.
Can someone explain to me though, why did Everton get a 10, while Derby got a -21 points deduction and if City get found out, will that result in a point deduction for that season and that's that? All seems a big waste of ****ing time this tbh
